Re: ****NWQOTD 9/2****
We want kids, but we don't plan on trying for at least another year. We still have to go on our HM next August.
...after that, we'll start to more actively try. We want 2-3..DH would prefer 3, but I'd probably be ok if it was 2. He's not the one squeezing them out and taking care of them lol. I would love to be a SAHM, but I don't think it's in the cards for me. It's a real bone of contention...DH kinda changed his stance on it, and I kinda feel like I was mislead. We both came from SAHM homes, and I wanted the same, and I'm afraid that if I'm not around the kids will grow up resenting me, or even worse, that MIL will be watching them and making them neurotic and it will be a whole new generation of freaks lol.

Before the wedding we were all about starting to TTC right when we got back from the HM. Now we're both on the fence about having kids at all. We love our life the way it is. However since we're REALLY old we decided that next month we're going to 'stop preventing' and see what happens. If it happens that's great. If not that's great too.And I will definitely be a working mom. At least part time. I can go down to 4 days a week at my job. I might be able to go down to 3 days if I promise to work from home.

Ideally we'd like to have 3, but not for a few years. Two biologically and one adopted. DH's mother died when he was 16 and his friend's family took him in and just a few months ago, he went through an adult adoption process so their names could be on his birth certificate. I've always been interested in adoption, and he has always wanted to adopt to give a child an amazing life, just like how his friend's family helped give him an amazing life after he went through the worst time in his life.

Both of us don't want kids, not sure if that will ever change, but this has been our view so far

We both want kids and agreed two would probably be the best (I would love to have more, but I don't think money-wise its the best decision). We plan on waiting 3-4 years, until we can buy a house and we're settled. Both of us will continue working (my mom works a babysitter for a living). If anything, DH can always work the nightshift as I'm a teacher.

yes we do....we both want 2 kids (poss 3 but most likely 2)before the wedding we planned to wait 2-3 years before trying, but since the wedding we have talked and we will probably try sooner than that. Hopefully within a year we can start.

We definitely want kids, we definitely want 2, but more is a possibility. I don't plan on being at sahm, for me personally, my career is very important to me.

yes!! we want two kids but we won't start trying for another 5 of 6 years. i'm in school right now to be a teacher so i want to finish that and get my career started before we even think about having kids! dh works 2 24 hour shifts a week so can be home with them most of the time and i'll get home early and have summers off so neither will be stay at home parents, but we won't have to worry about babysitting very much

Re: ****NWQOTD 9/2****
We deffinettly wants kids.As for how many, we have no idea. I used to say 2, ideally a boy & a girl. DH used to say, we don't stop until we have a boy.
As for when, its complicated.
I suffer from migraine headaches & am currently on a preventative medication, which I has to take every day. Obviously, once I am preggo, I can not take the medication & my doctor already told me it will be a very hard 9 months. (suffering with migraines & possible issues dealing with withdrawal.)
As for being a SAHM, I would love to, especially before they start school. This is also complicated as to if we continue living in Brooklyn, that will not be possible. But if we end up moving upstate, NY, I probablly will never have to work a day in my life again.
