Re: Our First Vacation - Suggestions

Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico ! We went here for 1/2 of our honeymoon and it was the most beautiful resort ! The rooms were gorgeous and the food was really good too. They have like 8 different restaurants. The resort was SO clean and spotless. The people there were super friendly too. I would go back in a heartbeat. Def get the rooftop terrace room. Its 1/2 the price of sandals !

Re: Our First Vacation - Suggestions

Aruba was absolutely amazing!! We stayed at the RIU it was all inclusive. It made sense for us just based on drinks, breakfast, and lunch alone. We tried all of their restaurants and they were ok. The buffet is really good. I do recommend going out to dinner a few nights because the food is amazing, a little pricey though. We had so much fun walking around and going on different excursions. The beaches were breath taking.

Re: Our First Vacation - Suggestions

We just got back from our honeymoon in Aruba and we absolutely loved it! We stayed at the Marriott! Marriott doesnt offer all inclusive but if you stay somewhere that does, I would recommend maybe only doing all inclusive for breakfast, lunch and drinks and then dinner out because Aruba has lots of amazing restaurants!

Re: Our First Vacation - Suggestions

we've been on a few vacations....and we LOVE the all inclusives....its worth it. Some of the islands, their restaurants are priced just as much or more as NY prices.....so we do the all inclusive and then maybe go out 1 or 2 nights...

Radisson Bahamas which i now think changed but isnt All inclusive...

RIU Palace in Aruba - all inclusive - nice hotel - the restaurants were ok...our favorite was the asian

we went to St. Maarten for our honeymoon in 2008 and stayed at the sonesta maho beach..all inclusive- .we are going back there again for our 2 year anniversary this year.....

we've done 2 cruises both with Princess to the Caribbean...enjoyed them both very much but spent more because of the tips added to the room and drinks.
