Pregnancy Test Recommendation?

Ok, long story short, something is going on with me and either I've got some personal issues or I'm pregnant. I don't think it's the latter, but DH still hasn't switched me on to his health insurance (I used to be on his) and I am freaking out wondering if I'm sick (not like nausea pregnancy sick, like possible problem with my bits and pieces) or if I'm pregnant. I probably won't be able to get to a gyno for a few weeks and since we're poor right now I want to buy 1 or 2 tests of an accurate brand and just put that part of this issue to rest.

I'm sure I'm just paranoid, I don't feel pregnant and I got my period (albeit very short and light which has been a growing trend for me lately), but now I'm paranoid my boobs are bigger and stuff. I dunno, I'm annoyed with DH for not putting me on his health insurance yet, and I'm just freaking out.

Sorry if this is TMI.

Re: Pregnancy Test Recommendation?

Is there a planned parenthood or similar organization near you in CA? They offer services at a reduce cost and you can usually get an appointment very easily. As for pregnancy tests try first response.

Re: Pregnancy Test Recommendation?

I used the First Response test to get my positive but make sure you use it with your first urine of the day to make it most accurate. Good luck!

Wow I had no idea you had to be the specific! I was just gonna go do a million errands and do it afterwards. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to use it then. Bleh.

First response early response will prob show you a positive earlier then say a dollar tree test or a digital. Good luck!

Glad to hear it, I know you have a lot going on now with moving and school. I am sure that would have been tough, but you would have gotten through. Hope you figure out what is wrong with you though.

I've used EPT. Never steered me wrong before. It is called the 'Error Proof Test'. Hope everything is okay!!

ETA: Just saw your negative! Hope everything else is okay!

Thanks. I totally feel the same way. It's the last thing that I needed right now, but if it did happen we're figure it out.

I talked to my mom yesterday to ask her what she thought and she said sometimes people just have waves where stuff like that happens, so I guess we'll see what happens when I finally get to the doctor.
