Since no one wants to be NWOTW - I'll try to get the boards going today...

If you had to leave your home and could only grab one thing (let's assume all living things made it out ok) what would you grab?

Since my engagement ring and wedding ring are always on my hand, then it would be my cell phone. I hate it when I forget my cell phone, it makes me nervous and it is not even a nice cell phone!

not sure if this counts, but i have a mini-safe with all my important documents inside ... i'd prob take that (yeah, i know it's super-boring)

as far as personal items, i'd want to take my stuffed animal that i've had since i was 13 ... prob the most irreplaceable thing i own.

Just my purse- it has most things that you all listed... some IDs (though not passport/marriage cert.), cell phone, flash drive (with all my photos on it), etc.

Dumb question - is the safe carry-able? Just wondering cause I was thinking about getting a safe to keep stuff in. I was lookin at all the damage done by tornadoes and flooding this past weekend.

yeah, it's like a briefcase (even has a handle and everything) ... it's actually also fire and waterproof .... i leave it by the door so i could easily grab it if need be

Providing I could carry it...and I can on a regular day...my magazine table.

It was the first piece of furniture that my grandma and grandpa bought when they got married. It has been passed around in the family. It's super retro, early 1960s. I adore it.

This except I've had mine since I was 7. I'd want DH to grab our backup for our comp. Our personal documents are in a fireproof box so that'll be fine. Everything else can be replaced.
