What size wedding album did you choose?

What size are most people's wedding albums?

DH and I are redoing ours in a flushmounted professional style. I found a website I want to try out that sells discounted flushmounts-you do the layouts but they print and bind them for you.

Its still pricey but still much less expensive than going through a photographer obviously. However, I do not know what size I should go with. 10x10 is substantially less than 12x12 and though I'd love the bigger format, not sure an extra 2 inches is really worth the extra $$.

Whats the album size most of you ladies went with or are going togo with? TIA.

I think our is 11X15!

We upgraded ours to a 12x12 when we booked duet

I found a site like that too. If I decide to make one I think it'll be 12x12. I dunno if I'd do bigger cus of storing it. But thats just my situation now.

Ours is 12 x 12 but it came with our package.

Thanks girls..I am torn.

I mean its not a huge difference BUT I can get 4 extra sides if I did 46 pages in 10x10 for less than 42 pages in 12x12.... What do you think? Its only 2 inches so do you think the 2 inch difference is worth the 4 extra sides or just stick with 4 less sides in 12x12?

My photographer JUST told me the size AGAIN on Tuesday b/c I can never remember... and guess what, I forgot again.
I think it's a 10x10 magazine style with a glass top. I think...

I think you might want to visualize some of the pages and see just how much the 2 inches will buy you in photo size - - what I meaqn is if you want to use a 5x7 pic what else can you put on that page and how big; 8x10 all by itself ?? how would 4x6 layout - - would you need 12x12 to layout or would it fit on 10x10.

we have 80 pics in magazine style. but we liked so many more that I did a slideshow w windows moviemaker and our first dance songs as background.

just love that.

you might want to try going in that direction - - I pop the dvd into player pretty often to remind me of the wonderful day.

Thanks! We already have an album I did on Picaboo where I stuck in all our fave photos but this is sorta a trail for my own business so we are redoing our album in this format.

I think I am going to do 10x10 because the two inches doesn't add that much to the layput and I'd rather have a few extra pages for the same amoutn of money.

We are getting a 12x12.. they said it is now a standard size and upgraded us from the 10x10! who knows though...

Thanks ladies. I decided on 10x10 cause I'd rather lose 2 inches and gain a few extra pages. I did his B pic album in 12x12 and it was ratehr ungainly due to the size.
