No water here either!! The more softener the better! I do not like when my clothes are crunchy in the slightest! The softer the better!!

Re: Your opinions needed ~ The Great Laundry Debate
I honestly think this is a personal perference. I don't dilute with water- mainly because I am lazy
, no really my front loader doesn't have water pouring into it so I would have to bring water with me and I never do that.I always use a dryer sheet also. I like really comfty clothes.

Re: Your opinions needed ~ The Great Laundry Debate
My washer says to add measure amount(from bottle directions=one capful) and then fill to line with water-- and I have never thought to do it differently!! Maybe I will jump to the other side I LOVE the smell of Downy on clothes!!!! and even more since my MIL innocently made a comment about how she 'hates' when people smell like fabric softener- she claimes she can smell it on people when behind them on line in the grocery store

I stopped using liquid fabric softener for the same reasons Stef stated...plus, my clothes kept coming out of the washer w/blue fabric softener stains on them! Yuck!

Re: Your opinions needed ~ The Great Laundry Debate
I used fabric softener when we first moved in together - I tried to get all domestic! LOLI didn't notice much of a difference with my clothes, so I figured why bother? Sometimes I don't even use a dryer sheet! (ok, so I'm getting lazy in my married life
)
