6/18 Review BOURNE MANSION with Pictures

I have to say 6/18 was the best day of my life.
It was everything I hoped it would be. Yes, something will not go as planned, but let it go and have fun.. And enjoy every minute of it..

Rehearsal Dinner – Giorgio’s restaurant – 9
We had our RD at Giorgio’s in Baiting Hollow in the restaurant part. Everything was great. We received many compliments on the food, the portions were big and the food tasted great. We had an Asian themed RD because my husband is Asian so I thought it would be a nice.
We had a China wok station with parasols. I'm not rating it a 10 is because we could have used one additional server. Also, none of the candles were lit in the votives and lanterns when we arrived. Even so, I would highly recommend them.

Makeup – Marie Katz – 10
Marie was great. She did my makeup as well as 3 BM’s and the MOB. Everyone complimented my makeup, I had airbrushing, and it stayed so beautiful all day. She was on time, very pleasant to work with, and very professional. I would highly recommend her.

Sherry’s Hair Designs – 9
Sherry did my hair as well as my BM’s. Sherry was very nice. I received many compliments on my hair, but it was not exactly as I wanted it. She had another bride after me, so I found myself stressing a little about staying on schedule.
Overall the girls were happy with their hair and Sherry was great to work with.

Limo’s – New York Style Limousine- 10
Anthony that owns the company was great. Not pushy, very accommodating. The drivers were all on time, pleasant and helpful.

Classical Chamberlin ensembles. – 10
I had a string quartet play at the church; it was beautiful. It was such a nice change from the organ. Sarah was great to work with; she was very helpful with song selections. We had a Flute, Violin, Viola and a Cello. I received many compliments from people saying that it was the most beautiful ceremony they’ve been to.

Florist – Flower Michele - 10
The flowers were all so beautiful. I received so many compliments. John and Michele did an amazing job. I also have to say that John’s customer service is top notch. He made the planning process for flowers enjoyable. He had a vision for my wedding at the Bourne Mansion, and it was perfect.

Photographer – Artistic Images – Artie
I will not rate Artie because he’s related to me.
I would like offer some advice though. If it’s offered by your photographer and you can afford it, go for the second photographer doing the candid / photojournalist shots. It was so nice to see the ‘Other’ perspective of the day.

Video – Treasured Memories Video -10 so far
Tim and Lee Ann are the owners and they were great to work with. They are very professional and listened to our vision for how we would like our video. The videographers were unobtrusive; I hardy realized they were there.
DJ – Castle Entertainment -10
Michael was fabulous, great song selections. He had everyone up dancing the entire night. He has a great personality and interacted great with the guests, but wasn’t too much.

The Bourne Mansion - 10 ++++
My wedding day was a dream come true, I felt like a princess. Steve was our Maitrde. He was very efficient. The staff was so helpful, friendly and professional. My guests are still talking about what an amazing wedding it was. The food was fabulous and the ballroom was gorgeous and romantic. Of course the chocolate fountain was a hit. They exceeded my expectations for the day. Bourne brides – get ready to have the best day of your life and to be treated like a princess.

I actually went to the Bourne that day and saw helen's flowers - they were soo pretty!
