Maine Maid Inn

I threw my sister's shower there this weekend!!!
I did an old fashioned tea party. An omelette station, croussants, scones, salad, fruit and cheese platter, and then little tea sandwiches (roast beef, turkey, shrimp salad, and veggie wrap). Then they had little petite fours....and then we had the cake! It was incredibley reasonable....and it was unlimited champagne and mimosa's.
The Maine Maid Inn-A+-The place was set up perfectly, very charming. The staff was wonderful, they took care of everything and dealt with my anxiety (I got there two hours early to put out favors and set up the wishing well, etc.)

Costco-A+-they sold me very wonderful cameras for the tables!!! And I also bought a wonderful, large white cooler that I decorated for the wishing well!

Michaels-A+-I am so not crafty, but I found everything that I needed for decorations there....confetti for the tables....toole, and fake flowers to decorate the cooler, as well as mini lace umbrellas!!! Also, 3 inch terra cotta pots, that my little cousins painted (so cute) and we planted pansies in as favors!!!!!

Buttercooky Bakery-A++++++++++++-the most wonderful cake ever!!!! It's called fruit salad, and it's vanilla cake, with a layer of fruit (strawberries, bananas, peaches, etc. mixed into custard) and then another layer of cake, and then icing. It was AWESOME!!!!!!

also, a coworker of mine gave me an idea for Bingo-where you print out the registries, and block out the prices and quantities....and people fill in the bingo boxes with what they think she might have gotten, and then you give little prizes for who gets bingo. It was a hit, it kept people interested in the gift opening, and it was fun with the prizes.
