MY MAY 14 2004 WEDDING REVIEW

I know it's taken me awhile to post my review but I've been incredibly busy lately but better late than never!!!

RIVIERA-A++++
Tom and I were just so pleased with the hall-everything was WONDERFUL-the food was just amazing, if I asked for something special they really did cater to my needs--they were so good about all the details I added to the reception--Michelle was my banquet manager and she was GREAT the whole time through-so easy to talk to and approachable all the time--like a friend...and my maitre d' was THE MAN---if you are getting married here request Robert Jay---he was so wonderful---he fixed my bustle for me and made sure we were taken care of at all times....the waitstaff were so awesome to all my guests---they kept complimenting the service the whole time---they give you a touch of Viennese which was really to me like full Viennese-everything was delicious! And plentiful!!! the atmosphere of the Riviera is one in a million and being the only bride there definitely made my day! I can't say enough about the place!

FLOWERS BY LORRAINE-A++++
All I can say is WOW. I will be going here for all my flower needs from now on...not only did I get an awesome price for all my flowers, the bouquets were SO gorgeous and came out so beautiful in all the pics. She really knows her stuff---the color combinations she chose entirely and they were so fresh....all the centerpieces are sTILL ALIVE-and it's been a MONTH--my bouquet only started to wilt LAST WEEK-I still can't believe it!

JAHPAN-Steel Drums-Cocktail Hour-A+
I had 2 players-and they were great-professional-they wore bright caribbean shirts and sounded so nice....everyone loved them!

DJ-Lenny from IN the Mix -A++++++++
If one more person tells me they have never been to a more fun wedding and that the music was second to none....Lenny is a DJ at the 56th Fighter Group as well as a professional wedding DJ...talk about EVERYONE being on the dancefloor and barely sitting down---UNREAL. I always go to 56th and LOVE the music and when I found out Lenny did weddings we decided to book him. BEST THING WE DID> if you want everyone dancing without being annoying and obtrusive--he's your man. I recommend him a hundred times over.

DRESSES-Princess Bridals Farmingdale-C
I would give them an F for customer service and overall outlook on life b/c these are a bunch of the most mISERABLE women I've ever met---but there are 2 that raise the rating to a C--I feel bad they work there b/c they are so nice---but the others-ugh. I went there b/c I got a good price on mine and my BM dresses....however if I could do it over I would never have stepped foot in this salon....as soon as thy have your $---it's like Dr Jeckyl & Mr Hyde. The alteration lady is really good though. My dress came out great though despite the above.

LIMOS- ALL STAR-A++++
The nicest most polite wonderful drivers in the world....well-kept beautiful limos...simply perfect.

Steve is great---so much fun, young, sweet, and mad cool....he takes the most gorgeous pics-I have 522 proofs and have no idea how to choose out of these for the album---such gorgeous poses and we look so nice in all of them...I barely knew Steve was there and he got some great candids....Get him if you can!!!

VIDEO- BELLARINO-A+++++
oh my favorite vendor. I Love Phil & Kate...they are the warmest and sweetest people. It's only been a month and I already have the video....and it is so beautiful...for my husband to cry watching it is pretty big...and the special effects and touches they put on the video is just beautiful...and they are so professional....I really barely noticed them there the whole night...and let me tell you they have reasonable prices for all the things they do. Once you meet with them and see their work you will know what I mean! They are the best!

Dance Lessons-REMEMBER WHEN-A++++!!!!
Michelle was our dance instructor-I can't begin to say how much FUN we had there-and we are going to keep going---Michelle is great-so talented and patient-we did the Bolero-a very elegant ballroom dance for our first dance-lifts and all! -- our guests went wild!!! they couldn't believe it!!! People are still talking about it!!! The owners, Joe and Anna Marie are awesome too-you truly feel you are part of a big warm family there-we had our final lesson before the wedding 2 days before- the people there also taking lessons at the same time and the instructors watched our 'dress rehearsal' and were so supportative-screaming and clapping-it was such a nice feeling...so worth it!!! And our video and pics prove it!!!

Hair and MakeUp: JEN FROM FAIRYTALE MAKEOVERS-A+++
Jen was so sweet and so professional-my hair and makeup stayed all day and nite and I truly felt like a princess!!! She did my brother's hair on a whim and also fixed 2 of my BM's hair and they went to their own hair salons and didn't like their hair--so she helped them out....she's so great and talented.


My day was perfect-there is nothing else more to say.
