My Nov. 12 Wedding Review!

I just got back from my honeymoon today, but I wanted to let everyone know how everything went. It was raining ALL day last Friday, but it was still a great day even though it went by really fast. Here's my reviews:

HAIR
Celtic Hair Design - A
I went to my regular hairdresser, and my hair came out fabulous. Stayed put all night fine.

MAKEUP
Maureen Pedala - A+++
I'm so glad I found her because I was so unhappy with the trials I had done with other artists. My makeup came out great, and a lot of people complimented me on my eyes the most because she really opened them up. My makeup still looked great by the end of the night. She also did my sister (MOH) and my mother's makeup, and she really used great colors on them to go with their color dresses. I would definitely recommend her, and I hope I have some special occasion soon where I can use her for makeup again because I loved my makeup so much.

PHOTOGRAPHER
Duet - A
Well I haven't seen the pictures yet, but they sure seemed like they got a LOT of pictures. Can't wait to see proofs!

RECEPTION
Leonard's - A
Our room looked beautiful. Food was great. We really got catered to in the bridal suite. There's really nothing I can complain about.

DJ
High Voltage - C
Well I was a little upset because I didn't feel there was that many fast songs played as there should have been. I guess probably the first hour there was dance music. Then it seemed like, to me at least, that there was almost two hours of slow songs. Even my sister was like, when's he going to play more fast music? My friends went up and asked to play some faster music too. When I did ask, there was an hour left, and he said he would play more after we did the cake and the garter/bouquet thing. So I said after that, just play all the fast music he could because the reception is almost over.

Problem was that I sent a CD of a few German songs a couple weeks earlier that I wanted played because my parents are German and love the music, and I'm their last kid getting married, so I thought I'd have it played even though I'm not too crazy about it. He never played the German songs. When I asked him, he said it was because I told him to play only fast music, mostly songs I requested to play, when there was only an hour left. But my problem was why wasn't it played for the three hours previously? I was just really mad about that. It would have meant a lot to my parents. There was toooo many slow songs. But whatever, I can't change that now.

FLORIST
Georgewood Florist - A+
Everything was gorgeous. My bouquet and the centerpieces were REALLY gorgeous. I loved the colors, and a centerpiece was at my in-laws' house today, STILL fresh.

LIMO
Royalty - A+
Limo driver to the church was really helpful and a really nice guy. He got us everywhere on time which was not easy since there was traffic since it was such a rainy day.

HONEYMOON
The Sands at Turks and Caicos - A++++
Wonderful, beautiful! The water was gorgeous, and the resort was breathtaking. It was such a relaxing island.

That is all I can think of now to review!

The last picture was the only closeup I really had, so I thought I'd show just to show how my makeup came out. I didn't mean for the pictures to come out so big!
