My Nov 6th East Wind Reveiw

The day was wonderful, but went by way too fast. I had been pre-warned to take everything in, eat and enjoy. I definitely enjoyed, but never ate a thing.

My Dress:
Bridal Reflections, Carle Place - A
They were very friendly and I had no problems with appointments or my dress coming in on time. MY BIGGEST PIECE OF ADVICE - on your final fitting WALK in your dress with the train out and with it bussled. I didn't and my dress was 1/2 inch too long and I kept stepping on it, my bustle was stepped on alot and didn't last more than 5 min into the reception. I held my dress alot that night.

Bridesmaid dresses:
Here Comes The Bridesmaid - B+
Very nice, dresses came in on time. Only problem is the sizes they measured and ordered were way too big.

Invitations:
Future Graphics, E. Moriches - A
Lots of choices, fast delivery and no errors. What more could you ask for. Owner was a former student of my Dad's so price was great too.

Wedding Hair:
Christian Diaz - A
Best trial I went to and only one that made me feel comfortable. He did 10 people on the day of the wedding and everyone looked great. Came to my house for trial and wedding, also cut my hair - best hair cut I've ever had.

Wedding Day Make-Up:
friend - A
Long time family friend - she was great, just wanted to say so.

DJ:
Tommy Tunes - A
They were great, we had Mike as our MC, he had the crowd jumping all night w/o being cheesy. He was cute too so the single females at the wedding were pleased. They didn't play anything from my do not play list. My only complaint was that a few songs I really wanted played they didn't play. It didn't occur to me until after the wedding so not a bid deal over all, but for all the money I paid it would have been nice.

Florist:
James Cress - B+
They were very friendly at first meeting and the price was good. The final meeting they weren't as nice. The flowers for the day were very pretty, but I had asked for fall colors with strong blue accents and instead I got purple.

Photography/Video:
VIP Studios - A (pre-proofs)
They were great to deal with the entire process and the price was great. Both photographers and the videographer were great to work with on the day of. Should have proofs this week.

Limo:
Serenity Limo - A
They were on time and very friendly. Would definitely use them again.

Reception:
East Wind - A+
They were great the whole process. Food was good (so I hear, never had any) and the place looked beautiful. My maitr'd and bridal attendant (Suzanne and Stephanie) were fantastic. I always had a drink and they were a big help with my bustle, getting pins and putting it up with utmost care not to ruin the dress with the pins. Mike G. was our sales guy and he really came through. I am so glad I chose East Wind, they were great.

It was a great day and now I have a whole lifetime to share with the man I love. What could be better?
