My September 10th WCC wedding review!

First I would like to say I had the best day of my life! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, not a cloud in the sky

I will start with the best A+
Jack & Rose - What can I say about Jack and Kenny. They were by far my most favorite vendor to work with. My bo-k, as well as the BM's bo-ks were gorgeous!!!! Everything was exactly what I asked for and them some. Kenny came to my house the morning of my wedding with 1 dozen white roses from Jack as a congratulations! This was the sweetest gesture! To my surprise Jack threw in a ton of surprises for me, I was one happy bride! All of the future brides who are using J&R, PLEASE do not worry, his work is amazing!

Ralph was always a pleasure to work with. There was always people dancing and he played exactly what I wanted.


M&V Limousines BIG FAT F!!!!!!!
This was the one vendor I was worried about and I was obviously worried for a good reason. Where do I begin...first off my driver calls me the DAY before my wedding for directions. uh excuse me??? Shouldn't you call your company and ask it's the day before my wedding, you are a car service and you're asking me for directions???? This happened a month ago for my bachelorette party(they were a half hour late), I called to make sure that they wouldn't be late for my wedding. I was reassured that they had the directons. So why is some guy calling my from his house less that 24 hours until my wedding askimg ME for dircections????
Next, my poor BP had to sit in traffic it was about 80 degrees with NO AC I called after the wedding to complain, they tell me well you know the cars get overheated???? WHAT?? They NEVER had AC from the moment they stepped foot in the damn truck, it's a 2004 Escalade, why doesn't it have AC????
Lastly and the worst of them all
I used the late night car for my IL's, they were going back to Queens and we were staying in Woodbury so they needed it more. Well the car came ANHOUR AND A HALF LATER. So here me, DH, my ILS, and DH's Uncle stand waiting outside WCC for all this time. The driver calls my cell and says he overslept. My FIL is now LIVID and calls M&V screaming. Dh and I didn't want to leave ILs, so we wound up waiting around. My FIl told me, he fought with the driver all the way back to Queens, needless to say they did not give him the $35 tip M&V told me I HAD to give him.

There's still more-they call me Thursday saying they are in the middle of doing the billing for my weddingand I owe them overtime. Um....excuse me but my cockatil hour started at 7pm, how could that be??????

My driver was a sweetheart, but it's not him who is getting this review. I informed M&V I would be giving them a negative review on LIW, I gave them a chance to compensate and they haven't. The asked me not to post a negative review. But I feel I need to let other brides know MY experience. If they would have done right by me, then it would be a different story.

I give a grade when I see my proofs hopefully tomorrow However, Steve is such a pleasant and patient man! I am sure the picture are wonderful. He was a pleasure to work with. I also used Patken for video, we had Ryan, also such a sweet guy. Will add more once I see it!

Wedding Night- The INN at FoxHollow B
The room was beautiful, however we supposed to get the 'romance' package, it comes with champagne, rose pateals, and chocolate, never got it. I wasn't about to call the front desk at 2am, and ask them to bring it, it wouldn't have been the same. I would have been nice to walk into the room and it be there. But in the end it really didn't matter They refunded me $50 the day after and offered us a car service to get home. They said they were especially sorry because I had booked this back in March.

Woodbury Country Club:) A+
From the momeny Dh and I walked into WCC,we knew it was for us. We had the outdoor cocktail hour and everyone raved about how beautiful WCC was. My MD was Tina, and she didn't missa beat! Everytime I would take the last sip of my drink, she was right there behind me with another waiting. I have to be honest, Dh and I did not eat!!! We ate stuff from the CH, we were starved and that was it. We were on such a cloud, we couldn't eat a thing! We both had 1 bite of our meal, didn't touch the pasta, salad, or dessert! I heard the food was delicious, especially the CH. I am so happy that we had our wedding at WCC. We were the only party that night, so all of the wait staff was very attentive. The only advice I have for WCC is to eat!!!! This is one thing I regret. I wish they would have given us the meals to take home, cause at 2 am, I was starving!!!!

I cannot wait to see the video to see the CH, everyone kept commenting on how wonderful it was!

Honeymoon-Radisson in Aruba A+

We had an amazing time on our HM There was some significant damage to the island due to hurricane Ivan. So we could not go to the natural pool, or under the natural bridge, but we got over that real quick.
Of all the restaurants we ate at, we LOVED El Gaucho andThe Flying FishBone. The FBB is VERY romantic I suggest you look up the sunset times online and then make your reservation a half hour before the sunset, it's such an amazing view!
We also did an ATV tour which was a blast, waverunners, tubing, and the Screamer. All were fun. But what I enjoyed th emost was relaxing on the beach with DH sipping frozen drinks all day. We had an amzing time talking about the wedding and our future.

Overall even with the little imperfections we had an amazing wedding day. It all does go WAY too fast. You may think I'm crazy, but I would love to do it all over again. I felt like I was in a dream all day long. I did take a few moments througout the day to look around and absorb everything. And now my future begins!

Great review jillnbrad! Congratulations. Thanks for the neg. review on M&V. It's sad to have to give a vendor a bad review, but it's definitely helpful to us ladies who haven't booked yet.
