Our 7/28/06 Review of CLM, Lavendar Bridal Studios, Pedestals, Steven Charles Entertainment

CLM: A+++++++

Everything was EXCELLENT! We were greeted by Nick and our bridal attendent. We joined our cocktail hour but got stuck with some guests, so CLM put us downstairs for 5 mins in the bridal suite and brought us a buffet of food from the CH (which we enjoyed, just being the 2 of us for 5 mins!) We had a little bit of rain and CLM made it poccible for us to still go on the boat and do outdoor pictures! They also made sure we ate and the BP ate before taking any/all pictures! The food was fantastic. By the time the chocolate fountain came, a lot of people said they were stuffed, but still had a bit! Which it was delicious! Many of my guests commented that many of the courses were the best they ever had. Our cake from Black Forest, was out of this world (chocolate cake with Irish Bailey’s cream, and Cookies-n- Cream)

Nick was our maitre’d, he was excellent! He even re-decorated the cake b/c the florist didn’t do such a great job. He took care of everything..he even helped to bustle my dress (which took 4 people to do) Really CLM speaks for itself, they go above and beyond to make your day great and mine truly was! I really can’t put into words how beautiful everything was! It’s almost 3 weeks later and people are still talking about CLM!

Lavender Bridal Studios A++++++ Massapequa, NY
They are a house vendor for CLM and we checked them out immediately. I instantly liked Michael and requested him for my own wedding. He was in fact my photographer for my wedding. He was quick with his pictures (for some of the pictures I didn’t know he took, until I saw my proofs) He was not intrusive at all! He also took special pictures that I wanted without hesitation. Many of my guests also commented on how quick, patient and efficient he was. And best of all…I got my proofs within ONE WEEK of my wedding! And again…I loved my pictures! I already chose 75 for my album…and that’s been narrowed down a bit! They all came out beautiful with different backgrounds and poses!

Steven Charles Entertainment-DJ/MC A++++++

Again we met with Steven initially and he was also our MC. We loved the music selection…the dance floor was PACKED all night! He even commented on how fast our wedding went by because we all were enjoying ourselves. He personalized our wedding and didn’t play the same old songs. Whenever he was going to do something that he didn’t discuss with us, he quickly checked with us to give the ok or not. (which he only did that once!) He also checked in with us mid-way through to see how we felt everything was going. He was great!

All of the bouquets were OUTSTANDING! My CP were FANTASTIC! Robert was such a pleasure to work with, he truly saw/created the same vision I\that I had for my wedding. We had minor things: I ordered flowers and bows on the pews, but only bows were there. To be honest, I didn’t realize until I saw my pictures. And then the cake had to be re-fixed by CLM. Also there were supposed to be flower petals by my votive placecards…they weren’t there. Other than this….the BIG things (CP, BO-k) Pedestals did fabulous! No one else noticed….and I would still highly recommend them!

Votive Placecards-Laura: La Productions
They were a hit! She had them done on time and perfect! Many of my guests commented what a different idea it was. She even made us some extra ones for the sweetheart table…which were beautiful!

Kleinfeld’s A++++
They were AWESOME! Lillian altered my dress….my bustle was gorgeous. My dress fit like a glove. I was comfortable all night. And got non-stop compliments.

Carmela’s Bridal Garden-Huntington, NY
We ordered in Sept. They were in by January. 5/6 girls got their dresses done and altered with little to no problems. My SIL had a ton of problems there and consequently had to take it elsewhere which costed her a few hundred dollars (she was also a former bride of Carmela’s). FM me for more info!

Kristin Mavroson-Make-Up Artist! A++++

She was fantastic! She's not a vendor on here....but check her out! She did all of our make-up within a half-hour to 40mins. Not one of us looked made up at all! All of the make-up lasted all day...she did airbrush and regular make-up. Which she didn't charge extra for! FM me for more info!
