Hi,
I'm hoping for an advice on how to determine quality of work/compatibility of style when I cannot meet with a photographer in person, and don't have a great proxy-person to do the meeting for me. I am leary of relying only on websites. Should I request CDs? Is this common? I'm stymied. Thanks for any advice!

The best way to proceed would be to request a mailing of info from those websites that interest you. Most of us have promo info to send out.
