DJ/live musician combo?

Hi, I am currently beginning my search for music at my wedding. Not exactly sure what I want, but am thinking I'd like a DJ for the majority, but also have some live musicians, maybe percussion or saxophone. Please FM me any advice/ballpark quotes you may have.

As a musician with professional experience as well as a tendency to be a 'purist,' I have an inclination against 'karaoke' style entertainment whether the live component be voice or instrumentation. My DJ / Band combo never has live musicians playing along with pre-recorded music. Instead, I provide a combo of live musicians who play sets, alternating with my DJ presentation so that you have the best of both experiences... live and pre-recorded music.

Certain music is best left to the original recording. Live music can certainly add another dimension to the celebration that a DJ cannot provide.
