The ladies at Bridal Suite in Bay Shore who reordered my gown and somehow made it fit after their entire store burned to the ground really deserve an A+++++++!

My videographer who was the jurk who appeared on Fox 5 problem solvers gets an F from me! I had to get the DA after him (along with so many other NW's) to get my tape back.

jms!!! I loved BS of BS as well...when I read about the brides like you...they went up 100+ notches!!!

It's not true that if you give a vendor a bad review the thread will be deleted. Only if you blatently say 'don't use so an so' as the title of your thread or look like you are 'out to get' the vendor.

I gave a few vendors horrible ratings! And, had a few threads about the problems I had.

I.E. I had a thread about how difficult to work with Bill at Inkspun was and how the quality I got back ****ed (a few others had this problem too) and about the problems with Bill Kennedy at the Harrison House. Neither thread had a problem. I gave each of them an F in my review. (We switched to Carmela at the Harrison House and she was wonderful-and our day went off without a hitch).

I didn't put this in my review, but we had to fire our florist (Marie from Christopher Devin Celebrations) two weeks before the wedding b/c she kept 'forgetting' to add things to our contract that we'd already paid for, and wouldn't sit down with us and sign a new contract with the stuff we'd added in over time b/f the wedding (and paid for). And, she waited until 2 weeks b/f the wedding to show us a sample. When we weren't happy with it she said she didn't have time to meet with us so close to the wedding so that we could see another one. She did give us all of our money back without a problem.

So, we switched to Flower Michele and they were nothing but wonderful ! They get an A++++++++ in my book. Our flowers were amazing, and we got so much more for our budget.

I forgot to add that I never rated Little King Ltd. on 9th street in the East Village. They are a jeweler I asked to custom make a bracelet to match my necklace. Not hard, just nice quality fresh water pearls and a simple link.

They forgot to make it! I ordered it on Monday and it was supposed to be done on Wed. I went to pick it up on Thurs and they'd totally forgot to make it!
They weren't very apologetic either. I ended up going to a jeweler in Roosevelt field and buying something similar, which worked out fine.

But Little King gets an F.

That issue you had with John surprises me. He doesn’t seem the type to scam but I have to tell you I started off really happy with him and I did give him an A+ when I rated him because he was professional, creative, attentive, and I really loved my boo-ks and cake decorations.
I have to say while the center pieces were very nice, they weren’t as beautiful as my sample. I was definitely disappointed in him on that. People raved about the center pieces and were happy when they got to take them home but honestly I noticed the difference. You see I ordered topiaries made with black magic roses. The pedestal was to have green ivy wrapped around it so that you couldn’t see the pedestal but that wasn’t how they arrived. The pedestals were not covered with the ivy, there was just one string of ivy and the topiaries were not completely round as they should have been. You could see the clear glass bowl at the bottom of most of them. I noticed it right away when I walked into the reception room. I called him and he apologized, but what am I to do. I still like John just a little disappointed because he was the one vendor I had total confidence in.
