im alone so wouldnt be much fun, or maybe i should. But no I was gonna go to times square and drop off the toys i have, today is the last day so i have no choice. But i would have to walk to the train station. However, i might just go to a drop off location close to me instead. There is a toys for tots location at a toys r us not far from me. ITs quite a walk though and i have all these toys lol. Dh might not be home for a long time so not sure if i can wait for him. Otherwise i can just take his car and go there myself

it got serious out there

but im about to throw my snow boots on, they go up to my knees so ill tuck my jeans on, my northface and my hat that covers your ears lol. should be fun WOO HOO lol

I would just wait for DH. Those dayum pieces of ice hurt when they hit you. Besides Toys R Us closes like at 9 right? Do you think you can make it on time.

i dont want to have to make anyone drive in this weather or go out of the way to pick me up. I think i might call my dad and see if he is home, he is right by me so if anything i might just ask to borrow his car and do it. His car handles alot better in this weather. I am thinking about waiting until dh gets home and just taking his car.

Yeah not taking a cab, they scare me when its nice weather out, i think id kill them in this weather lol.

I might just walk the whole way, its not THAT far of a walk, not real close either but might be a good workout. I might walk up the block just to see if the main road is clear, if so ill take my car then. Bc the toys r us is on metropolitan avenue which is a main road and i live right off metropolitan so i can take that straight there and straight back. Ive gotten used to controlling the car as it slides lol. But then my luck it wont stop bc of the ice now

Yeah, that was my feeling. I went about 15-20 MPH on side roads and 35-40 on main roads - and it wasn't bad for me. But I have an SUV - you do too. I was going to go food shopping tonight - I think it's going to turn to ice though so I am staying in, renting a movie on optimum I think (I have heard great things about 'Once').

as soon as i came home i took sauce out of the freezer for dinner and there it was, just staring at me... so i ate it.

or maybe it will be better if i just go to times square. The train is not a far walk from me and might be best and quicker and not dealing with the roads. When i get off i will be right by where they have the toys for tots location by the army recruiting station and then can get right back on. If i take the LIRR even better bc takes 15 mins to penn and then i just take it one stop so about 20 mins to get there

i dont know im playing it by ear right now lol.
