Now that its over, what is the one thing you would have NOT done for your wedding

Lets face it....there are very few of us who were not on some kind of budget in planning our wedding. Now that it is over, what is the one thing that in hindsight, was extraneous and you would do differently now to cut back on cost?

For me, it would be my wedding album. I never would have picked a photography pkg. with an album!
At the time I thought....'why would I bother with a photographer at all if I'm not going to get an album?'
But I just finished making my grandmother's album.....out of all of our proofs. When I look through the 400+ proofs, its like re-living the wedding! A lot better than the stingy 50 photos that are in my formal album.

I also would have put my foot down and not allowed MIL to invite all of her friends, who have no bearing on our lives whatsoever. It annoys me to see these strangers in our photos.

I would not have used my florist because they s u c k e d. I also would not have become so upset over what FH's mother was wearing. Who cares what she wore.

I wouldn't have spent so much time on some of the DIY projects, like the programs. Barely anyone took them .

My thoughts exactly. I went CRAZY & spent hours on cry packs. My programs came out nice but the cry packs were a waste

I would not have spent the $$ on a stretch SUV that took us to a park 2 minutes away from the RH for pics.....could've just taken them all at the RH, I actually liked it better!

Also - STDs. I have tons leftover and they were a complete waste of $$ - everybody knew the date via word of mouth.

Besides that - everything else I would've done just the same!

i honestly would have kept everything the same. even the DIYs were so worth it, especially the petal cones - the petals looked so pretty being tossed and landing on the train of my dress!!
