So with the wedding day being officially over, does it ever make you depressed?

So Karin's post about posting our favorite wedding pics got me thinking about how much I actually miss my wedding day. Do any of you ever feel depressed that its all over..I go on the 09 board from time to time and just miss the whole wedding feeling and anticipation. I miss the day itself so much that at times its hard to come on here (I feel like its a distant memory). Do any of you feel this way?

YES!!! I miss the wedding. I find myself being so jealous of people still planning. I stare at the bridal store windows and secretly want to go try on dresses I dont know when this wedding depression will go away- its been almost a year!

We had a small wedding...just close family and friends.

I wish that we could have the reception again.

I definitely get depressed about it sometimes. I dont really miss the planning as much as I miss all the fun stuff we got to do like shop for rings, my e-party, bachelorette party, shower, registering...all that stuff I miss. It was so much fun being the bride-to-be so that is the part I miss the most. I also get sentimental sometimes thinking of how much fun we had the day of the wedding and how excited we were. You have so much fun stuff to look forward to leading up to the wedding and now its all over so it is kinda sad.

Our wedding was over awhile ago. After the wedding...I felt great. I wanted everything to go perfect and it did. Mission accomplished. My life was exciting then and its still exciting now. A baby....a house...vacations...family! Its wonderful!

i cant believe its almost 6 months already, it was like i had so much to look forward too, that one day, and now its like nothing, butttttt i am looking forward to seeing my wedding video!!!!!

I thought I would be but, I felt the day was so perfect that I wouldn't want to change a thing and glad I don't have to stress about it. Its so odd though that sometimes it felt like a dream and when I see pictures it feels like it was so far away but, its only been 4 months!

I agree with everyone and I can't believe I'm married.... I'm finally getting used to the whole new last name concept.... and signing the correct name. But it's sooooo abstract still that I'm married and a Mrs. it seems like it was sooooooooooo long ago but we are not at 5 months yet. Then on some days it seems like it's been 20 years already. I don't have regrets or many things I would change from the day so that's getting me through. And my co-worker is planning her wedding so I'm reliving it all through her but I miss it! I miss the excitement of the accomplishments... getting your invitations... picking out the dressed... etc there's plenty I don't miss but I am a little bummed from time to time I hope this goes away soon! but then again the stress of buying a house is keeping me quite busy I can't wait to not have anything to plan or organize.
