I guess you are not going...oh tacky from beginning to end
If you cannot invite everyone from the job, then send it to the person's home. How dare her invite you w/o your hubby

I like that I will drop it off at her desk...maybe I will just drop by her office and verbally say no.

Re: The rules of wedding planning...out the window!
I don't even know what to say to this post. This co-worker is not only RUDE but she is also totally full of herself. Sending out a 'I want a gift' e-mail is a first in my book. I will probably tell this story to a few friends and we will all laugh at it. I would NEVER give someone like that a gift. I would probably also NOT attend the wedding. I would not send a gift either. I just cannot deal with people like this.No RSVP card? I would e-mail her and say 'I got your invite to the wedding but it did not include a response card. How should I let you know whether I am coming or not?'
The VERY funny thing is that in very high society type weddings a response card is not included in an invite set. You are suppose to write a handwritten response on your personal stationary. I HIGHLY doubt she even knew that.......

There is no response card! Did she provide any sort of RSVP info? If she didnt I would probably ignore the entire thing - I would be that put off by it.

Nora
Return to Sender in her work mailbox
since she didn't put a stamp on it.

Re: The rules of wedding planning...out the window!
I don't know about anyone else, but I am itching to see this email.
It reminds me of the invite my DH got to a party celebrating his friends marriage 4 months prior. She told everyone in the email to bring his/her own meat to the barbeque (yes, BYOM...that's how it was said) and that they'd only provide a few drinks and condiments because they blew their wad on the wedding none of us were invited too.
People just amaze me.
