What does everyone do for a living??

Edit- I am currently a substitute teacher!! I taught 3rd grade in NC for the past two years and HATED it!! So I've decided to sub again ( i subbed for 2 years before moving to NC) while I decide what I want to go back to school for!! I'm thinking social worker.

ugh i always dread this post b/c I'm so torn when it comes to 'what i want to be when i grow up

I'm a secretary for a University...

BUUUUUUUUT... I'm an artist and trying desperately to get closer to living off that. (probably never would)

I was a producer at a post production company (television) worked on Sex in the City, Spin City...
had a pretty cushy career started but I gave it all up to have my son (got knocked up)

Now, I'm working and hopefully starting graduate school for art therapy.... but im procrastinating.

never say never.... my friend is living off of her art... partly becuase I keep commissioning more art she does abstract water color portraits, but in the past did murals for kids rooms and furniture.... she stopped doing those becuase it was too strenuous (she has a disability).

she also considered art therapy, but couldn't handle going back to school AGAIN. but she really wanted to do it.....

I *just* started doing murals... I'm actually starting one for my son this wknd. HERE is one I did for my nephew's room.

thank you for the kind words. I'm on the border of depression over this... I have a GOOD job but I'm not proud of myself b/c I worked so in college and now I'm not doing ANYTHING with the degree I earned. Since I'm working for a University, my tuition is free so I cannot pass up the opportunity to use those benefits...

I'm a director of Financial Analysis and Planning for Financial Services company and DH is a lawyer (litigation)

I work in Civil Service now for Suffolk County and I HATE it. I have a degree in New Media Design, but not experience or portfolio. I'm not really sure what I want to do anymore.

I'm an attorney for a large firm. I'm a litigator who does mostly intellectual property work, but some commercial litigation, too. I basically do what they tell me.
