Just checking up on my fellow 04 Brides, wanting to see if any of us have done anything new and also just to say hi.

New things:
Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book
Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells
Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it

That is what has been going on with me.

Wow, I missed alot this morning! We are moving in together & renting this summer. We will probably buy about a year after we are married.

I am actually home sick today. We were supposed to see 2 bands, so I spent the day re-scheduling and also making an additional band appt, as well as an appt for flowers. So much for resting up, huh? This wedding planning stuff is actually driving me a little crazy, but it's weird because I think I'm sort of addicted to it at the same time!

Jess I am the same way, its driving me nuts but I am so addicted. I love looking at wedding stuff and getting brochures in the mail and going on line. Its an addiction. FI just goes with the flow of things

Yeah Chippatrid, my FI is pretty much the same way. The only time I've seen him stressed is when our parents met for the first time. Even then he was like, 'it will be fine, I don't know why you are worried!' Yeah, he did not even eat the whole night he was so nervous!

Hey, I got another question for you guys. Who is going with you to look for a wedding gown? I actually would like my dad to go with me. Do you think bridal shops will allow my dad in them? I know I went to Burton's for my fitting for a bridesmaid dress and my FI came in with me and they asked him to leave, since girls were trying on dresses. Just wondering what you guys thought, thanks!

I think that they would allow your Dad into the bridal stores. Maybe he'll just have to wait outside of the dressing room. I think that's so cute!

I'm going to go with my mom, my grandma and my FMIL.

My FI hasnt really stressed. Well maybe a little. I am out of work (I lost my job 3 months ago) so money is a little tight so he stresses and worries about money. But he's been really supportive to me in everything. He has fun when we invision what our day will be like and our friends being with us (our friends are bikers and they party) so we joke around and have a great time with all this wedding stuff.

For my dress trying on, I am taking my mom, maid of honor and one bridesmaid. My dad will probably come with us but I dont think he'll go in. He'll probably drop us off and then go do some errands or something.

FI thinks I belong to this secret underground bride club. I am always talking about new things I saw on the boards, topics of discussions, etc...Sometimes I throw in the lingo of BM, FMIL, GM and it convinces him more that I am in some kind of secret group of brides. He is so silly.

I am on here all day and constantly looking up wedding stuff. its an obsession

We were talking about a vendor and Brian says we should give them a call and set up an appointment. I said ooh maybe we should wait, I need to ask the boards first. After I have there thoughts then we'll see.

He just shook his head.

I told him I dont make any move with vendors because first i look them up on the BBB.org and then I go to the boards and see what everyone else says.

The first and last time I went to try on dresses I had my mom, sister, MOH and my aunt. I would have had a couple other BMs but thought it was too much...
It will always be mom and someone else that can give an honest opinoin.

We have no idea what we are giving each other as wedding gifts. I want to get him something nice to wear the day of the wedding. Maybe a chain or a watch. But no mtter what I get him his neck and wrist are really big and I would have to have it specialy made. He wears a 26 inch chain and normally watches barely fit his wrist. So I really dont know what I am going to get him

I just bought him a white gold bracelete and for our engagement/christmas I am giving him a Movado watch with diamonds on the side...for the wedding I think I am going to get him a white gold chain.
