10 Random things about you

I like this..hope I can think of 10 interesting ones

1- I'm an avid reader and sometimes people get annoyed because I have a large vocabulary and they think I'm showing off when I use'big words'

2-I'm obsessed with magazines. If I could I would buy every single one out there every month and I have to hid them from FH all the time because he thinks they are a waste of money ( they are, but I love em anyway!)

3-I have a tendancy when I see something cute to scream ' OH MY GOD' and scare the SH!! out of people near me ( but I cant stop I have tried!)

4-I love the NY Yankees and still have not recovered from them trading Tino Martinez
( kiss kiss TINO!)

5-I'm addicted to High end Make-up. I once spent $475 in Sephora and I swear I walked out with a 'small' bag. I buy regular stuff but I feel like I'm cheating on my devotion to Lorac, Stila , Nars etc..

6-I had the chicken pox TWICE, Scarlet Fever TWICE and Whooping cough when I was young ( all three I was suppossed to have been vaccinated against)

7-I love Reality TV...Wife Swap, Real World, Survivor, America's next Top Model...love them ALL!

8-I always felt I was destined for something BIG , I'm jealous of Famous people only because I thought I would be one ! LMAO ( I work in Customer service, but my dream is still alive!)

9-I drink a LOT of coffee, about 6-7 , maybe even 8 cups a day

10-Dave Matthews is my IDOL!

I love Mexican food and Soup ( all soups!)
I love thunderstorms even though I lie and say they scare me
I have 2 tattoos
I have 7 half sisters and a half brother
I was devestated when Dawson's Creek was cancelled
I love crafts but everything I do looks like crap
I love getting mail...I get very excited when the mail comes..
I LOVE school supplies. I always am buying notebooks, pens and folders even though I dont use them

1) I LOVE broccoli now, but didn't like it for the first 25 years of my life.
2) I slept with a plastic babydoll named Butterball until I got married a few months ago.
3)I can recognize a fabric by touching it...usually down to the percentages of different fibers.
4) I can do shots of Cuervo but can't stand beer.
5) I can sit Indian style and stand up without uncrossing my legs or holding onto anything.
6) My dad is a musician and played the outdoor rally where Colombo was shot.
7) I can deal with any weather condition except wind. I hate the feeling of being beaten and blown around
8) I match the clothes brands of my outfit (J.Crew top, J. Crew pants or Ann Taylor sweater, Ann Taylor skirt, no cross branding in outfits)
9) I look for pets when I go to people's houses because I like to play with them and sometimes ingnore the people to play with the pet.

10) I like mashed potatoes and corn on a bisquit

OMG..you had me hysterical laughing..I do the SAME thing with pets...At Pre-cana I heard a quarter of what they said because I was too busy playing with the cat and the dog!!

And I have to say your comment about the outfit thing was very funny.

wow, lets see...

1) I didnt learn to drive until I was about 22 because I was scared. I cried during my first lesson. I was living upstate at the time, so public transportation was not an option.
Now I love it

2)My birthdate is 1 digit away from FH's (2 months apart), both our sisters have the same birthday, and his dad and my stepmom have the same birthday

3)I keep in touch with 1 friend from junior high, 1 from high school, and 1 friend from college.

4)I started grad school for psychology and I am loving my Statistics class

5) I used to have awesome houseparties in college. They were legendary.

6)I love living in NYC.

7)I rescued my cat from freezing. There were 3 kittens abandoned in back of the school I worked at, this was 2 years ago,in November. One morning we found one of them had frozen during the night. I took adopted one and a coworker adopted the other.

8)I went on a 2 week tour of Germany Switzerland & Austria after college.

9)I feel like I was meant to do something that I havent figured out yet.

10) I want to travel to Ireland, and Italy before I have kids

1 - my all time fav band is Barenaked ladies - seen them live 7 times!!

2 - i love mcdonalds; i don't care how bad it is for me.

3 - i just love junk food and would live on it, if fh would let me.

4 - i am only 97 lbs and no i am not anorexic, i'm also only 5'2'.

5 - fav holiday is christmas; fav christmas special is emmet otters jug band christmas.

6 - i hate broccoili, but i like broc & chesse soup - go fig.

7 - love to read and am addicated to buying books at borders or b&n.

8 - love to go to concerts w/fh - think we've been to over 20 in the last 4 years

9 - i have 4 tats and i want at least one more (fh only has 2 - wussy!)

10 - my biggest pet peeve is nosey people.

1. I am desperately TTC. Almost 2 years now.

2. I am a Cancer and awfully emotional about good things and bad things. I can cry at commercials.

3. I am a high school English teacher.

4. I too keep old pictures of ex bfs to show my kids.

5. I love old school house/club music.

6. I love being American-Irish.

7. I have 2 dogs.

8. I LOVE living in NYC and am such a city girl.

9. I am the biggest shutter bug. I have close to 500,000 pictures. All prints, no digital. I love to take pictures of babies and flowers.

10. I married a man that I didn't even like in the beginning. He is my soul mate.

OMG!! I used to love that HBO special. I even named my rabbit emmett because he had big cheeks like emmett did. I also bought the DVD last year and my DH thinks I'm crazy when I watch it.

The river bottom band - Hated them!! They used to scare me! LOL

1) I LOVE KITTENS
my mom calls me 'kocia mama' which translates to mother of cats, I believe?

2) My favorite color is Blue then Red

3) I am addicted to AMC, OLTL & GH and am so mad that I don't have SoapNet. My hubby needs to figure out how to program the VCR with our new digital IO box.

4) I am the youngest of 3 sisters who started dating first (had/still have to teach my sisters a few things ) Also am the first to get married first.

5) I LOVE To shop (SHOPAHOLIC)

6) I have always wanted to become a catalog model and/or an actress on one of my SOAPs.

7) I love french manicures (even though lately I just get pink, because my nails already look like they are french)

8) I LOVE chocolate

9) I love to stay home and watch tv.

10) My family has never shown/spoke affection towards one another, (which we are trying to change, my sisters and I). This is why when I see tv shows/movies with families showing their love towards one another I start crying.

i know they were mean! i have it on vhs, but i can't watch it b/c our vcr is broken. i have to buy the dvd this year - i don't care what fh thinks.

What the heck, I never post much...so you might as well know some random (ie.useless info ) about me as well:

1. I just know I could get to at least $500,000 on Millionaire without a lifeline...I just know it!

2. I love cars. Tinkering, taking apart, putting together, restoring...you name it, I've probably done it at least two or three times. I just bought my first foreign car (did I mention it's the 37th car I've owned?)

3. 75% of the time, someone has to remind me it's my birthday. I never remember until I have to write out the date (on a check or a report at work).

4. I (like my wife) am addicted to the internet. I run a website with well over a thousand members (and growing rapidly) so I am usually attached to laptop when at home.

5. Your mom would love me.

6. If a car commerical comes on tv, the world stops. My wife can be talking about the most important thing on earth, but if I catch a Corvette flying through the air on the tv....I'm zoned out for at least the next 30-45 seconds.

7. I love the Mets. Just because they play by golf rules (lowest score wins) doesn't make them a bad team. Every year (except this one) I go to fireworks night at Shea. Nothing like fireworks to cheer you up after seeing your team beat to shreds.

8. Sometimes I drive too fast...sometimes too slow. But I'm always right! Everyone else on the expressway should have their licenses revoked and forced to ride bicycles for a month (in the rain)!

9. I got a speeding ticket about a month ago. The cop must have been using his radar on someone else (see #8)

10. Though my wife thinks she's boring. I think she is the funnest person to hang out with.

Let's see

1. I love animals!!! I have 3 cats and would love a dog, but we are going to wait until DH is out of school.

2. I was in the Miss Tennessee Pagent in 1992. I have no idea what I was doing there, but I did win the prize for talent.

3. I am often called aloof because I am quite shy.

4. I am tough and know how to hold my ground, but cry at things like the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

5. I have performed to sold out crowds in Arenas across the country. Sadly, I was dressed as a Pokemon character in front of 20,000 people.

6. Sometimes I spend a whole day listening and singing showtunes.

7. I have very few friends. I have no friends from HS or College. My friends now are my co-workers.

8. I dropped out of college even though I was a Dean's List student.

9. I have 2 stuffed animals. They were each given to me by my brothers and are my prized possesions since my brothers have both passed away.

10. If this whole acting thing doesn't work out I would love to go to culinery school and become a chef.

One to grow on....

11. I started playing the violin at 4 and have not picked one up since I was 20.

Awwww.......

MWAH to my sweetie!

Oh, this is so cute! I've really enjoyed learning all of your lists! I've gotta try to think of one...

1. I really love so-called 'indie' music, but I also have a major, major adoration of George Michael. And DH constantly teases me because of it!

2. I am seriously car-phobic. I have a driver's license, but I almost never drive. Sometimes I don't even feel comfortable as a passenger (like if I'm traveling on a scary highway with lots of lanes and trucks).

3. Fall is my favorite season. I still love that nerdy 'back to school' feeling, the leaves, the pumpkins, the crisp air, the kids in Halloween outfits...

4. I love sleeping. Sometimes I think I'd sleep all day if I could. And no, I'm not depressed! I just love blankets and pillows!

5. One of my favorite movies is... gulp... _Bring It On_. (See number one -- I love independent films, BUT...) I think I like to pretend that I was a popular cheerleader gal in high school. I keep this fondness for the cheerleading movie -- and other, similar teen gal flicks -- hidden from DH!

6. Speaking of which, I sometimes suspect that my way of viewing the world is much, much more colored by my early adolescent experiences than I might like!

7. I have read _The Great Gatsby_ at least 50 times.

8. I love watching the Westminster Kennel Club show every year, even though it's kinda boring. My favorite dogs are mutts, though. Mine's a mutt and I'm very into encouraging people to adopt our mixed-breed friends!

9. I (used to?) have obsessive-compulsive disorder.

10. Did I mention that I love George Michael? Oh, I did? Well, there's more: I'm obsessed with 1980s music and have an encyclopedic knowledge of it. Woe betides my friends when they challenge me to '80s trivial pursuit!

10. I have a fear of rodents (i.e. mice, bugs). Look at it as an Elephant who's afraid of a mouse

9. I once spent $200 on a replica wrestling championship belt.

8. The bed has to be made before I sleep in it. I simply CANNOT sleep in a messy bed. In college, there were times where it would be midnight and I would make the bed and then get in it.

7. Boosh and I love steakhouses and have a top ten list of the ones we've been to.

6. It is our mutual dream to visit every major league baseball stadium.

5. I am a huge fan of professional wrestling, especially, the old stuff from the 80's. Boosh loves today's wrestling but hates my vast collection of oldies. I painstakingly looked online for a tape dealer so I could buy copies of all of the shows at Madison Square Garden that my dad took me to as a kid. They were some great times and I have alot of fond memories.

4. Besides Boosh, my dad is my best friend and I'm not afraid to say it. We talk more like buddies than father and son, though he is a bit neurotic and is extremely organized, which I am not. It has caused some very interesting arguments. I'm extremely close to my mother too, kinda like Ray Barone but not that bad. That's why me and Boosh enjoy the show so much.

3. I am a game show fanatic. I record The Price is Right every day and watch at night. I also record Jeopardy every day but will stop once Ken loses. I also enjoy GSN and watch the old Family Feud and Match Game.

2. Boosh and I have practically everything in common from the Mets, the Jets and wrestling to game shows, Looney Tunes cartoons and old comedy.

1. I have way too many old classic TV seasons on DVD than I know what to do with. I have all of the seasons currently available for Sanford and Son, All in the Family, the Jeffersons, the Honeymooners, to name a few. I just got Diffrent Strokes Season 1 and am watching that.

Tied for #1 No matter how bad they are, I LOVE the Mets. Since it's October, hopefully they golf better than they play. And, I LOVE the Jets. 4-0 -- -YEAH!!!!

1) I am ADDICTED to ChapStick. This is NOT a joke. If it's my wedding day and I'm already 30 minutes late and FH is waiting at the alter I will STILL stop for chapstick if I don't have any.

2) I love Disney. I wanted to go to WDW since I was 2 or 3 and my parnets always promised me 'next year'. Thye could never afford it and FH finally took me when I was 20. I also collect Disney pins, but I have to buy some that I deliberately don't like so I'll have something tot rade, but then they grow on me and I don't trade them anyway, so buy MORE to trade. Theres so much Disney related stuff. i really think I'm Snow White. I know all the words to many of the songs on Disney rides. I LOVE Spaceship Earth and I pray that rumors of them replacing it are totally false.

3) I'm a vegetarian and I have a mi;k allergy. I'm not LI, but I have a milk allergy. When I was a baby I always had a rash on my chin from the milk, and I think that messed up my immune system b/c all you drink is milk when you're a baby and I was sick ALL the time until I was 17, and I still get sicka bout 10X more frequently than anyone else

4) I was a dancer before the car accidents.

5) What I really want to do is direct. No, seriously.

6) i've been on TV several times (nothing major, mostly school related), but I've never seen myself.

7) If I like a book or movie I will read/watch it over and over and ovr and over again.

I know EVERY word of The Breakfast Club.

8) I went to a math and science HS even though I was always bad at math and science. In HS I spent most of my time in chorus or the theatre, with friend,s boyfriends, whatever. Schoolwork cramped my style

9) I've fallen in love with just about every male best friend I've ever had...HARD.

10) I'm REALLY, REALLY shy. But no one believes me because of my acting background.

2. As an adult I've developed allergies to strawberries, cherries and cheap red wine (something about sulfites).

3. I'm still working on getting my next tatoo--I got my first when I was 18 in 1992. I know I want to get another one but I'm still thinking about the right design.

4. An ex-boyfriend had a poem published about me.

5. Between the ages of 10 and 18 I did something like over 50 performances of The Nutcracker (former ballet dancer).

6. I was quoted in an article in The Chicago Tribune about people carrying around really big back packs on their MTA--I was carrying a really big back pack to work.

7. I only stared eating mustard and tomatos a few years ago.

8. I'm in the process of getting a paper published that I wrote for one of my history classes (this doesn't seem that random).

9. If I could clone a band and bring them back to play one more performance for me it would be Pavement (up until last year it would have been The Pixies).

10. I am a total sucker for all of the cheesy dance movies--Dirty Dancing, Havana Nights, Centerstage and the latest, Shall We Dance? and have PAID money to see them in the movie theatre.

1. If I could only have one thing to drink for the rest of my life, it would be white grapefruit juice.
