10 Random things about you

I love drinking shots of tequila yet can't have drinks with tequila in them.

I am a big time YANKEE fan and incorporate lessons in school based on baseball.

I have a fear of heights and drowning

I am the oldest of 6 kids. 5 GIRLS and 1 boy. My poor brother. No wonder he joined the Marines right out of high school.

I am Italian and Irish which means I love to eat and drink!!!!!!!!

My dad is David Letterman's bodyguard/head of security...

I never ate fish in my life up until a few years ago.. I dont eat everything but i eat halibut, tuna steaks, mussels etc....

When I bartend nowadays, my best friend is RED BULL...

I love the card game, Let it Ride in casinos. No more roulette for me.. (well not as often)

I am strong willed... hence being separated after 7 months of marriage...

1. I am an INTP. That means an Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiver. What it really means is that I hop from thing to thing, master it (or at least as much of it as I find useful) and then hop to another thing. I am a minor expert on tons of different topics, one of them being planning a wedding on a tight budget.

2. I am a Fantasy novel addict. I read about a book a week, and reread them if I run out.

3. I owe the library $18.63. I once had the library report me to a collection agency.

4. I have a Masters in Dramatic Writing. That's playwriting and screenwriting.

5. I am NOT the only Jamaican Jew I know.

6. I am at work right now, and should NOT be doing this.

7. I have not written in about 6 months. Very bad of me.

8. I have a 9 year old brother that's so big he can fit into my DH's clothes. And vice versa.

9. I like blue.

And lastly;

10. DH and I are going to Boston of the Lord of the Rings exhibit. We are big dorks, but we are NOT dressing in costume. You got it out of me.

ETA to add:

11. I can't drive. My learner's permit expired last year. DH can't drive either. But we live in Queens, so who cares?

1. My favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz. I must of seen it hundreds of times.

2. I love the Yankees, although I think most people on here know that. I am also a Bills fan-kind of balances out the Yankees

3. I turned down a full scholarship-half for softball half for academic- to Boston College because my boyfriend at the time didn't want me to go (P.S. we broke up about 4 months into our freshman year and then 3 months later he started dating my best friend at the time).

4. I met my husband in Cancun 7 years ago and we only got together because our 2 best friends wanted to hook up.

5. I have a very high tolerance when I drink and I tend to be the life of the party once I actually get drunk

6. The only sodas I drink are Sprite and cream soda

7. I was told that I was on track to try out for the Olympic softball team before I injured my right wrist and wasn't allowed to play fast pitch softball after that.

8. I played the piano when I was younger but haven't played it once since my grandmother passed away 8 years ago.

9. I am allergic to onions

10. My 2 favorite desserts are chocolate creme pie and chocolate covered strawberries.

THis is so cute & fun!!

1) I was a gymnast from the age of 6 until 18...I had to grow up & take on responsibilities & I had to give it up...(i still miss it to this day)

2) My family owns a summer house in Maine...It is absolutely the most beautiful place in the world but I could never live there year round....

3) I love trucks...Hence I have only own a Envoy...I will wash it 3 times in a week just to keep it sparkling.

4) I hate beer & most alcoholic beverages...I will occassionaly have a Malibu Baybreeze just because I like the Coconut taste...

5) I gave up the weekend partying in college so that I could help my mother take care of my grandmother...she was diagnosed with Parkinson's & Dementia when I was 17...I spent every waken hour on the weekend with her up until she closed her eyes for the final time in Jan 04..

6) I work in the aerospace industry...Never knew a thing about it & never thought it would be as interesting as it is...6 years later, I am still at my job & basically run the show...

7) I am a die-hard country music fan...I will play country in my car & house at all times rather then listening to the NY stations...FH hates it but he is learning to deal.

8) I have a Yellow Lab who will be 8 years old...I never really wanted a dog & always were allergic to them...Now I look forward to seeing him everyday.

9) I have been known my best friend since I was 6...We are still very close & she is now my MOH...We both went our separate ways during college but always managed to meet back up.

10) My mom is one of the best people in the world...She is more like a friend to me then a mother....I can go to her with anything & she will not judge me or say bad things....We are constantly together & almost inseparatable...


Other interesting things
I love to shop & FH could kill me sometimes with my spending...
I love to be outdoors & hate being stuck in the house....
I can't wait to have children just to see the world through their eyes....

5. One of my favorite movies is... gulp... _Bring It On_. (See number one -- I love independent films, BUT...) I think I like to pretend that I was a popular cheerleader gal in high school. I keep this fondness for the cheerleading movie -- and other, similar teen gal flicks -- hidden from DH!

Ohhh this is fun...

1) I have 3 older brothers, the youngest of which is 9 years older then me!

2) My parents came here from Ireland, so they and my brothers are my only family here.

3) I jumped onstage and helped pull Morrisey's shirt off at a Jones Beach show in '91.

4) I worked at Yellowstone National Park.

5) DH and I sang onstage with Don Ho on our honeymoon.

6) I am a recreational therapist but currently going to grad school for teaching.

7) I have 6 nieces and 1 nephew (poor guy).

8) I was in a sorority and partied way too much in college.

9) I have a tatoo.

10) I went to Woodstock '99 and stayed up for 47 hours. I hated that show!!

1. Even though I dropped 30 ibs and kept it off over the last three years, I am OBSESSED with my weight. I dream in weight watchers points.

2. By the time I was 24, I had moved up from being a sales person to being a regional director to being promised VP of operations at a prominent Weight Loss Company.

3. I gave the above up to stay in NYC and marry my DH. I am now a pharmaceutical sales representative.

4. I have a passion for entertaining esp. since we moved into our new home.

5. I live for spas and love all things related. Facials, Pedicures, Massages, you name it.

6. I have OCD in some form- I wash my hands like 30 times a day- before and after every meal especially. I make my DH do it too. I won't let him touch me unless he washes his hands. Weird right?

7. I live for sushi and also love greek salads. I could live off both of these.

8. I cry (bawl) when DH has to leave on a business trip. I beg him not to go to the point where he starts crying. We are such pathetic losers!!!

9. I am so sensitive I will cry reading People Magazine (esp during that time of the month). Once my DH caught me crying reading the pennysaver.

10. I hate not being liked. It is my biggest fear in life. I want to be liked! Like Ray Romano. LOL!!!

Ok, I'll try...

1. My favorite group was NKOTB. The day before the concert I ripped holes in my jeans like Donnie used to and made a tie died shirt w/ my moms help that said 'I Love NKOTB'. That was my concert outfit.
2. I love to draw and paint. I won a few Kidsday drawing contests back in the day.
3. I used to sneak out of my parents house at night cause my curfew was too early.
4. I don't like my hair curly.
5. I could eat sushi rolls everyday.
6. I love to bake desserts.
7. I can't speak in front of a lot of people. In college I lost my voice and couldn't give my presentation cause I was so nervous.
8. I hate exercising but I do it w/ DH cause he says I motivate him when I exercise w/ him...talk about pressure!
9. I didn't like my house after we first bought it but now I LOVE it!
10. My puppy uses a dog litter tray w/ newspapers so I don't have to walk him in the rain and cold. Its great.

2.) Never thought I would be so emotional after having a baby. I always thought everyones kids were cute but now the sound of a baby cooing makes me come running.

1-i trained to be a chef and was in the catering business for most of my life that was my parents business.

2-i love my name and collect anything with joy on it.

3-i am one of five the 2nd to the youngest

4-my brother is my best friend

5-i have always wanted to be a florist and have tried to get a job for years in a shop even working for free and was always turned down for no exprience

6-i have a large barbie doll collection

7-i was a gothic chick with long black teased her and black lipstick and i miss it !!!
