10 Random things about you

1. I have a ton of gray hair, even though I don't get stressed about things all that easily. I guess it's genetic.

2. I can sleep anywhere...seriously...I fell asleep on a dorm room floor freshman year with a crowd of people talking around me....the cold linoleum floor....

3. I have an intense love/hate relstionship with my cat....i love him and he hates me. I have the scars to prove it.

4. I'm obsessed with Johnny Depp (seriously, I love him ). I have 4 tapes full of old 21 Jumpstreet episodes, 21 Jumpstreet playing cards, and I carry around an article he wrote for Rolling Stone in my wallet with my other various Johnny parephenallia

5. I'm a Middle School teacher, and there is a boy in my class who was so afraid of Middle School last year because he has some motor issues....and I just found out the other day that I am a major part of the reason that he's doing so well this year. He is an absloute sweetheart...and I saw him after school talking to some girls and laughing and joking with them, and it made me so happy I wanted to cry.

6. I have the same size hands as JOhnny Depp.

7. My baby brother is in Iraq and he emails me daily...which makes me so happy because I know that he's still alive. But it also pains me because he's in so much danger, and I hate having to be so happy just becuse I get an email from him.

8. I'm terrible at keeping in touch with people, but when I have free time, I like to write letters to my friends and decorate them with stickers.

9. My husband was my first real boyfriend ever. Before him, I dated 5 people....they all lasted, 3 days, 25 hours, 2 1/2 months, 1 month, 3 days .

10. One of my exboyfriends in college got mad at me for breaking up with him, and wrote a story about me for a creative writing class we had together. In the story, his character robbed my character, knocked me unconcious, and left me for dead in an alley way. He also described what my skin felt like in the story and called my 'pudgy but cute' . I spent the rest of the semester petrified of going out alone.
He was eventaully kicked off campus for sexually harassing one too many people

One last one...at school the other day - someone told me they thought I was an 8th grader!!!!! I'm going to be 29 in less than a month!!!

Oooh..I just came home and found this thread. I didn't have time to read everyone's responses yet, but I will!

1) I love dolphins. I have a ton of dolphin figurines, pictures, snowglobes, etc.

7) I have one sister - she's 10 1/2 years older than me. No, there's no one in between us. Yes, we have the same two parents. I just took my own sweet time in being conceived!

8) I collect thimbles from everywhere I go. DH built me a shadowbox and they are all hanging on the wall in the living room. It's full, so I need a new one.

9) I learned to read at age 3. I got the award in nursery school for the best reader! I still love to read.

10) I love kids. I'm studying to be a child psychologist and I really want to work with the early childhood population.

Now I'm curious as to what you THOUGHT I wrote!

This is the cutest thread!

1. I love starting collections, but never finishing or sticking with them. Ex: Cow figurines, beanie babies, dolphin stuff, Star wars stuff.

2. I used to dance competitively and teach dance classes and was super skinny, but I quit because the one of the teachers was mean to me and I regret it to this day (especially since I started getting fat afterwards!)

3. I absolutely love cooking and I'm glad that I decided to skip out on college and go to culinary school.

4. I absolutely love bowling even though I suck at it.

5. I absolutely LOVE animals and wish that I could have something really cool like a monkey.

6. I am REALLY corny and will crack up at the corniest jokes. My friends are constantly rolling their eyes at me.

7. I am terrified of ants...absolutely terrified. I have myrmecaphobia (sp?) and I freeze if I see either a carpenter ant or a large group of small ants. No other insect bothers me. I get teased for this fear a lot.

8. I used to be really good at basketball, especially at shooting free throws. I've won 5 free throw tournaments; 3 of them consecutively, but I lost in the Long Island finals. I had 20 out of 25 baskets and a girl beat me with 21 out of 25. I was mad that I couldn't go to the NY finals.

9. One of my dreams is to go swimming with the dolphins. I've always wanted to do this and hopefully I'll get to some day.

10. I almost went to school for marine biology, just so I could eventually become a trainer at Sea World until I realized just how difficult it was to get to that point.

6. I have had zero stress planning my wedding (6 weeks away) it has been nothing but fun and I have remained calm about everything (and I am hopeing to keep it that way)

7. My wedding is going to be featured in a magazine next year

8. We made eachothers wedding bands by hand in my garage and they actually look beautiful.

9. My FMIL is just about finished with making my wedding gown.

1. I have an amazing ability to pick out paint colors. I have picked all the paint colors in my house, my moms house, my friends houses, and my neighbors houses too. (Hence my secret passion to want to be an interior decorator).

2. My husband and I went to college together - but we barely ever spoke a word to eachother in college. A few years later we became friends and one drunk night (before we were dating!) I told him I was going to be his wife one day.

3. I am embarassed to say that I have never been to Europe - my husband has been everywhere - so he promised to take me around :) Next year will hopefully be London or Amsterdam and Israel.

4. I love art...I will do anything artistic, draw, paint, make jewelry, decorate, color my hair, make cards, scrapbook, etc.... I could spend HOURS in Michaels.

5. I eat anything - there is nothing I hate - I wish there were cause I have no self control. I am pretty thin (but wish I could lose 5 lbs) so I guess I am lucky.

6. I straighten my hair everyday with a hot iron - I can't live without it.

7. I could live on asian foods. Sushi, Korean, Vietnamese. Chinese....yum yum!

9. I love to entertain, cook, throw parties.

10. I am addicted to handbags, shoes, and shopping. Shopping is always great therapy for me...and when I score great deals it makes me so happy.

are we the same person? i am also 29 and people think i am 20 or 21. but i am not at the place you are yet, i don't think i will appreciate it when i am older. but i hear what you are saying

1. I have to take 2 showers a day, or else I don't feel clean but I can only wash my hair every other day.

2. I love to sit around and watch TV - I am overly senistive and cry when there are sappy moments on shows. I was very upset when Friends ended.

3. I have a 6 year old son from a prior relationship that ended pretty much when I had my son.

4. I love greasy food.

5. I am addicted to my treadmill - if I don't get on there 4-5 times a week - I will be in such a bad mood and disappointed in myself. Unbearable to be around when I am feeling bad about myself.

6. I have horrible stomach problems that wake me from a sound sleep at about 2:00am EVERY morning.

7. I am married to a wonderful person who also happens to be my best friend.
