Please state which committee(s) you would like to be involved with and then let the committee as a whole make a decision on who the chair be. I think that would the fair way instead of a person deiciding on their own that they would like to be the chair.
I can start: I would like to involved with the DIY projects andd/or secret bride.

I am not sure she is trying to make this difficult I just think that she was just making a point that it becomes more difficult to plan a party when there are too many people involved.

The list is a living list and by far not final. I am keeping a list of all the people interested in participating. The only group that wouldnt need any additional ppl is secret santa. Please dont feel that this is any way to exclude anyone. I know that there are people that arent even on the site today who would like to be involved.

In my defense I promise I didn't want to be a part of anything .. I just wanted to go and meet some of the girls. But this seems to be getting out of hand.

Im not getting involved .... I don't think anyone is trying to make this harder than it has to be. It's just difficult when there are a lot of people trying to do the same things.

I think it is more... how the heck can you divide something so small up so that three people can be a part of it... seems more practical than babyish

We were PLANNING on doing an 09 shower a LONG time ago. LONG LONG TIME ago. I think some original girls are very put off by new comers planning everything without them. This was something we were going to do when the right time came. Now its practically been snatched away

I am going to have to agree... isn't the whole reason we started this because you felt left out and that we shouldn't have the right to plan this? So pretty much you are saying you had no intention of wanting to be a part of planning it... you just wanted to do what then? why even bring it up if you didn't want to be a part of it?

OMG I have to finish making dinner but, what if you have 3 people to each thing and leave it at that? Not everyone is going to be happy........we all need to keep that in mind. And if others want to be involved maybe we can think of something else like ....name tags or whatever else you can think of.

the problems that I am talking about was that a few of us had started to take a good idea and start to plan it and tried to include and make everyone happy... but apparently there were some girls that felt that we shouldnt be the ones planning it bc they wanted to plan it... and now they dont want to do anything.

I don't want to be involved anymore....I tried to be involved and someone b*tched about 1 more person on a committee than they had in mind. I've been here for close to 2 years..I really would have liked to help plan something special for all of us.....Do what you guys want....I'll show up but I don't want anything to do with all this drama anymore
