I better see results tomorrow! lol I worked super hard this week and actually stuck to my workout schedule!! I will keep you ladies posted!

Bridejackson22: I would not recommend working out. I think not eating solid food will cause a few lbs to drop off..and being that the e-photo shoot is so close, It wouldn't really be possible to lose a ton, so just play it safe and stay away from working out. I don't think the drs warned you against it for no reason! You can start back up after the 2 weeks...it's not worth the risk!

A friend is visiting from back home for a few days and been out dining daily in the city and eating too much and haven't worked out. I miss my own cooking so will cook tomorrow night and will get back on track with my workout routine.

Mrspy did you notice anythin in particular that made you want to eat. Stress? Boredom? Try to figure your source and pay attention to that.

It took 2hrs for me to eat the tiniest bowl of mashed potatoes. I definitely better lose weight from not being eat a lot. I am still upset that I can't workout. I worked so hard getting through what I have of couch 2 5k and I will have to restart or go back to week 2 or 3 at least.

It is just mental. I see something, I want it. I think about something, I want it. I have yet to learn how to STOP giving in to those cravings. If I don't eat, I am such a B****. Ugh. Maybe I am just meant to be overweight. I do so well then sabotage myself because food is so yummy. I can definitely admit I am addicted to food!

Actually sometime mrspy a health problem can cause that mental must have habit. Like thyroid or hormone problems and diabetes does cause habits like that. I have a slow thyroid and take medication I was pre diabetic after getting my health issues straightened out it took me a while but I was just told last week all my levels are back to normal all in good range and I don't have those sabotage moments anymore. It might be something worth looking into to rule out and help you find your healthy lifestyle.

MrsPy - I would totally follow up with your doctor about it. There could be a list of reasons why you feel the way you do. Great advice bridejackson22 :)

So I've been religiously running since the first of April. I run about 3x a week. I've seriously become addicted to it!! My goal was to originally prepare for a 5K in BK in September - I'm doing 5K at least 1x/week now, so my new goal is to do a half marathon this October. Wedding or no wedding, I'm totally digging this running schedule lol!

Haha I spent today cheating big time and eating everything in sight at a family party...back to being on track for tomorrow.

I was bad this weekend and didn't run all last week because of hurting my knee. I'm back to it tomorrow though. On the plus side I wore a skirt today that was tight on me a month ago and big on me today.

Don't get too down about it - if you're working out you might have gained some muscle! Pay more attention to how your body looks and feels, sometimes the number doesn't matter.

I'm not sure I could have gained muscle from 1 week of working out lol...but It's ok I will still pretend that's what it was...sounds much better in my mind! Thanks

Have any of you ladies heard of the app 'gympact'?
I just downloaded it..
It's free, but you make a pact to work out however many times a week you want to, and you pledge As low as $5/day for each work out and if you don't meet your goal you pay up! But of you DO reach your goal, they pay you! (They pay you with non goal reachers money lol)
So if you say you'll workout 3x a week and you only work out twice, they take $5 from you Nd give it to someone else who did reach their goals.

I think it might be a good way to motivate me since I love my money and don't want to give it away! I just did my first work out with it today- it's a little picky like it can't be a slow moving work out but that's ok it made me work harder!

I have seen a doctor about it. I have insulin resistance so am
Monitored regularly & take metformin. On paper I am as healthy as a 130 pound woman but I just love food lol

I also found this 30 day squat/ crunch challenge I've been doing :)
Only 18 lbs until my goal weight for the wedding and definitely the motivation I need to keep going!!!! :)

WOOO HOO!!! Keep it up! You're so close to your goal! Do you mind sharing where you found the squat/crunch challenge? I like exercise routines that have a set amount of time. I like counting down to the end date! lol

Don't get discouraged! This happened to me when I first started dieting/exercising. Even though you're dieting, make sure you're eating enough calories or else your body goes into 'starvation mode' and holds on to some of the weight. Keep doing what you're doing and you're bound to see results!
