Thanks Simonenarissa I plan on it I have been very careful of what I have been eating since I can fit in the smaller pants again I'm like the second they feel too snug I am doing drastic cut backs on food lol. I am not gaining back this weight I worked too hard to get here.

Woooo go Simonenarissa and MrysPy. I love couch 2 5k. I can't wait to start back up again now that I am allowed to work out again.

2 weeks into diet and exercise and I haven't lost anything. I originally was down 5 then back up 2.5 and have remained there so all in all been fluctuating 2.5 pounds for months. This makes me so over it! Ugh

Monday I will start religiously tracking every bit that goes into my mouth. After being home sick for a week I have eaten so much junk it makes me sick thinking about it. And tonight I am going to a wedding so I'm sure I will pig out even more. Hopefully I get add some exercise into my routine also!

So I am a little upset because I have realized I have gained 10 pounds. I have never been this heavy in my life. I need to start working out and eating right, but I crave dunkin' donuts iced coffee with cream and taco bell! I know these are bad for me, but I continually crave them.. I hope I can start eating better this week.

So, not only am I joining this late, but I'm also joining for a slightly different reason that I hope you ladies don't get too annoyed with. My name is Dani and I'm 21 years old. I was diagnosed with colitis about four years ago which makes it very difficult to gain weight if you have terrible impulse control like me. I know what I need to eat and how much weighing about 100 pounds at 5'3' makes me feel horribly about myself, but that doesn't stop me from stuffing my face with everything in sight. Even the occasional fainting from my complete lack of ability to watch my diet hasn't stopped me. My weaknesses are McDonald's, Smash Burger (which is literally right down the road from me), and fast food in general. I'm also lactose intolerant which I seem to be better about (except when it comes to ice cream in the summer or mac and cheese). So, I was hoping from this board I could get some suggestions about how to keep on my diet and motivation to actually stay on it so I can gain about 15 pounds and become healthier in general before my wedding without annoying too many of you ladies. I also don't want to be so tiny that people (besides my FH) pick me up at my wedding and I also don't want to be stuck in the bathroom for an hour or passing out on my wedding day. Sorry if I irritated anyone! :)

Have not had success with counting my calories and feel like I need to make a drastic change. 7 months to the wedding is approaching and I am running out of time. FH & I just went food shopping today and we have decided to do low/no carb. We have BOTH had success with this in the past and figure we will try this out, hopefully jump starts our weight loss and then in due time transition back into counting calories. I need to just get this damn weight off and it is time! No carb here I come!! You better work. If this doesn't work, I officially give up and will just continue to live my life and not worry about it anymore. I will do about 3 days and then I am off for vacation so it will be a little bit before it is a full commitment but I am excited nonetheless.

Getting healthy is the same whether it's losing weight or gaining weight! Try eating healthy fats like avocados, nuts, peanut butter and fruits that are more dense like bananas, and pineapples as opposed to watermelon and berries. Also, protein protein protein! Have you tried any supplement drinks from GNC?

mrspy don't give up just remember the reason why you want the weight lose to have a healthy lifestyle the looking great at the wedding is the bonus. Remember half of the battle with weight is mentality if you have a negative outlook on weight loss/ getting healthy it will be 10x harder. Enjoy your vacation hopefully it refreshes your outlook and helps you out when you return.

Chippster7 have you asked your doctor about a healthy way to gain weight possible a medication for the colitis? I have used sparkepeople before it is free you can set it for vegetarian/dairy free/ gluten free it gives you a meal plan you can start there and try to follow it. Also almond cheese is actually pretty good. I try to limit my dairy consumption and I have made mac and cheese with healthy brown rice pasta or quinoa.

For all my runners I just got back to running I had to restart c25k all over again since I had to stop for my surgery and recovery. I think I went to hard to fast yesterday and aggravated my sciatic nerve. Does anyone know if I should continue to try to run or wait for it to go away.

I've been doing quick arm workouts on demand in hope to get some toned up arms for our wedding day pics! I do 20 min of cardio a few times a week and I'm hoping to see some changes soon. And I've been drinking 8 glasses of water a day! I'm hoping that once I'm part time over the summer I'll be able to make it to more yoga classes. FH just started insanity again so I might give it another try soon!
