2014 Brides

Go MrsMango! Keep it up! I have been so stressed with so many different things going on I haven't had time to sleep let alone work out. Yesterday morning I tried to lock the front door by pointing my car clicker at it lol.

Chaz I am a vegetarian and even before I became a vegetarian I bruised but I am not anemic. Are you eating at least some protein? if your not eating balanced enough or working your body too hard and not getting enough protein it could be a reason.

My diet is: Fruit & a protein bar for breakfast, steamed veggies or a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch, and for dinner I usually make gluten-free pasta with steamed chicken or brown rice with steamed chicken and veggies. I'll snack on granola during the day in-between meals. I rotate but the basis of my diet is fruit, veggies, and steamed chicken. I've definitely decreased my intake of meat drastically, so I don't know if that might've had an effect.

2014 Brides

Day 2 of low carb and feel like I am already bored with the food options. Ugh. This is why I end up breaking the diet. I have yet to find something that I can commit to. Yikes. Any low carb food ideas?

I failed miserably doing low carb aside from the fact that I was a total b!tch I am a carb addict so I dont have many options for you. My greatest success is on WW. How about like a chicken & veggie stirfry? turkey lettuce wraps? unsalted nuts to snack on?

I'm a carb addict too - no chance I could ever do low-carb. What about portion control as a start? Measuring helped me a lot.

It may be from lack of iron...I think taking a iron supplement would likely help. Unless you feel like you have a lot of iron intake via green leafy veggies...then I'd check with my dr if it keeps showing up.

went out again this morning! did a mile and a quarter with 3 sets of bleachers and about a mile walk. this morning was really tough for me. i was literally on the verge of tears. i just need to make this a habit again & start being stricter with my points. i know I can do this, even though i hate every second of exercising. My sister & I plan to get rollerblades this week so we change it up bit.

You're so determined! I wish I had the motivation to get out and run up and down damn bleachers!! Awesome--it'll totally pay off!

Congrats! It does pay off cause if you give up and you gain you just always end up feeling worse. No one said losing weight was going to be easy or fast lol. We all hit plateaus and our bodies naturally fight weight loss. Keep up the good work!

Ugh, I hear you! I'm such a carb addict. To cut back, I try to snack on nuts and cottage cheese. I use arbonne's protein shake and there are a bunch of recipies you can do with that. I blend 2 tablespoons of chocolate protein powder, 1 tbsp of cocoa powder, 3/4 cup almond milk, 1/2 banana and about 13-15 ice cubes. It's fairly thick, but I put it in the freezer and it almost gets the consistency of soft-serve ice cream. It's really filling too! For breakfast I occasionally eat greek yogurt. For lunch I try to just eat things that I would normally put in wraps and sandwiches, but without the bread. For example, I'll have a can of tuna with some lowfat mayo and chopped onions, but without the wrap or a chicken breast and roasted red peppers without the hero.
