After everything I ate yesterday at the G2G and date night with FH, I am back to where I started. But, today is a new day and I will be at the gym after work, sweating for the wedding, lol.
UGH, same! We ended up ordering fried chicken and macaroni and cheese for dinner...
Today is a new day! going to gym during lunch and grocery shopping after work for healthy items
Claire, you are gorgeous exactly as you are. You don't need to lose an ounce!
Oh gosh, you're so sweet... thank you!! I wish I felt the same way lol. But I must say, you're pretty gorgeous yourself, missy!
Thank you--but clearly your Bloody Mary really was too strong! LOL ;)
LOL!!

lol nick got me to go back to the gym! I wouldn't listen to Rory or John whenever I went with them because they aren't motivating and they just make me angry. But i didn't know nick that well and felt like i was gonna be rude if i didn't listen to him haha!
anyway, i don't really workout with the guys anymore because i do spin class 3x a week instead, but nick was awesome and is so nice!!

Classes are such a good way to go! I'm intimated by all of the weight machines and I don't need any added anxiety when going to the gym! lol. I like that the instructor decides everything for you and forces you to workout for 45-60 minutes. I usually get bored on my own after 10 minutes haha Spin is awesome!

I love Zumba!! It's one of the few things that actually motivates me to go to the gym! Don't worry about how you look. Everyone is so focused on following the instructor. Have fun!

Zumba is fun and it's true your so focused on the instructor following what is going on no one pays attention to how ridiculous anyone looks like.

I've been doing so well with my eating habits and working out (I'm 5'6 and 135 lbs- the lowest I've been since like the 9th grade! lol), but these last two weeks have been so bad!!! My grandparents 60th anniversary party was on the 10th, and my aunts/uncles/cousins came up to NY for like 4 days. all we did was eat bagels, pizza, bakery food, and everything else bad for you! lolThen, last weekend my FH and I went to two BBQs, I went out to applebees a few days ago with my friends, and then I ordered chinese last night =/
I need to get back on track with this diet!!!!

You can do it! Just remind yourself just cause you at one bad thing it doesn't have to effect the rest of your day you can get right back on it.I finished week 3 c25k. I got some shin splints yesterday while running but pushed through. I am going to force myself to go for a jog with my friend after work. :)Hopefully Saturday when I weigh in I will see some progress.

Has anyone ever done the 'zone diet'? FH did this about 2 years ago and lost 45 pounds. He said it was hard but the only reason why he liked it was because he lost so much weight. I was just curious if any of you ladies ever tried it and if so, did you like it/was it hard to stick with?

I have never done the zone before. But I would definitely look at if it is something you can stick to without losing your mind. Some of the diets like that where you buy the prepackaged foods they have ingredients that have no nutritional value or taste bad. I have been a vegetarian for a year and lost 20lbs but as of late my body actually as been craving meat. So I am starting to notice due to my more intense workouts I am not getting enough protein my body needs. So I have been doing some research into transition to the polar opposite and trying paleo. I have recently added fish back into my diet and started to exclude grains and dairy. I am making it a slow transition to see how I do and my body reacts. Everyone's body reacts differently to foods, certain diets.

How long does anyone think/from experience that it would take it loose 30 pounds?I have 6 months till the big day and know I would feel so much better about myself if I was at goal weight

Everyone is different I know some people that lost 30lbs in 6 months. Me personally have been working on it for a year and only lost 18 I have like 35 almost 40lbs left to go and only a year left to do it. But I do fall off the wagon a bit here and there. I did so good all week long worked out ate super good. Came home Friday we had a little birthday gathering for a friend. Cheese fries 3 beers later and a 2 slices of pizza there went my hard work all week. Next day went dress shopping didn't want to eat before hand didn't want a food belly. So three hours later I am starving we get green cactus, have another friends party so 3 drinks slice of pizza later. No working out those two days. Yesterday was by fart he worst. Skipped breakfast cause we woke up late. Went to the seafood festival fried twinkies and two beers was just some of the bad stuff we ate. Right after that I had a book club meeting which was surrounded by junk food. I need a detox I feel food hung over. Sucky part is I was doing amazingly well until Friday night. The weekend killed me.

If you are strict on your diet you could definitely lose 1.5-2 lbs per week. So that is 6-8 lbs per month. Which would be 36-48 lbs in 6 months. Me personally I probably wouldn't be able to do it because I always 'slip up'/ I'd be happy with losing 3-4 lbs a month because I am a slow loser. Good Luck!
