Dont beat yourself up! This is usually the time of year people gain! You're doing great.
I'm proud to say despite my progress slowing down a little for thanksgiving, I'm 30 days into my new healthy diet and i'm 11 lbs and 30 inches (from all over my body) down!! Let's keep the motivation up before the holidays and New Years take over!! We got this ladies!
Rock on! I just got back into working out. I stabilized at where I was for a while but now i'm really worried if i dont work on this now i'm going to be pissed at myself. Unfortunately i have some issues with my back, which can be unmotivating, but i'm trying to put things in perspective! i got half way through my normal work out today before i had some bad pain and i let myself stop, and i didnt beat myself up about it. I'll try again tomorrow. I need to stop giving up on it! one of my BMs is helping keep me motivated by sending me messages in the morning. Its a small thing, but its super helpful!

it's better than gaining!! This is always the worst time of year. I'm being a psyco now because I only have 3 months left so I have made no plans to go out, no birthdays, no parties nothing. Our social calendar is usually pretty full, poor FH is like why aren't we doing anything. I've been taking kickboxing classes, I have to say I love it and omg what a workout. You have alot more time than me so I say keep doing what your doing and enjoy the holidays!!
thanks for the encouragement!! i know .. holidays are SO SO tough. i was actually thinking of taking a kickboxing class. i feel like i would really like it. where do you go?
I go to Cannon Kickboxing in Long Beach, they had a special to try it out $20 for 3 classes and free gloves. I hate going to the gym its so brutal for me, this is more fun than torture and you burn like 600-800 calories per class. Groupon has deals so you can try it out.

That's awesome! keep up the great work.
Holiday are really hard I say as long as you don't go overboard, enjoy that Christmas cookie, or a cocktail at the holiday party just make sure you do moderation. I got back on the workout wagon last night after a week hiatus from the Thanksgiving craziness last week. I did workout the day after thanksgiving, and technically my thanksgiving was a marathon I lugged all the china up out of the basement and silverware all heavy and back down and put away along with digging out the xmas decorations. I cooked all day so I was not sitting and eat and right after dinner I was up cleaning up and setting up for dessert. So I think that helped combat the not normal eating a bit. I passed on eating pie left overs after thanksgiving. I had a baby shower Sunday I had a small piece of cake and was being pressured to take home left over cupcakes and refused. I am glad cause one of my friends that did take some home at 4 in one day. Not what I need to be doing especially around this time of year. I have not weighted myself cause I'll be honest I kind of don't want to know the truth but I feel like I look a bit different. I have to measure myself this weekend and see if I have gone down. Keep it up ladies we can definitely do this.

Kat, I always say a 20 min work out is better than what i would be doing if i did what i really wanted (which would be nothing :)) lol. Every little bit counts! We all know, this ish ain't easy.. Good for you!!

i'm planning on picking up going back to the gym after the holidays. i just have so much going on and i don't want to set myself up for failure by making myself feel bad about not going.it's amazing how much progress i've made just by changing my eating habits - excited to see how throwing exercise into the mix will change things even more!

Re: 2014 Brides 'Official Weight Loss & Keep It Off' Thread
decided to do a side by side comparison and it's really making me see my results! the pictures are from september - november - december. i can tell i'm losing weigh in my thighs, and i'm starting to have more of a shape in my hips. i KNOW i always lose weight last in my stomach!
but, i did buy two new pairs of jeans over the weekend ... a size smaller.
i couldn't stand wearing saggy jeans anymore. i still don't fit in my 'skinny' jeans, but i'm getting there.
we got this girls!!
