I guess I can't dispute that...but it also can't be disputed that the Yankees set a record with 26 World Championships...which I'm sure will become 27 next season.

Someone needs to tell that to Red Sox Nation! One world series victory in the past 86 years does come close to the 26 Yankee victories lol.

Speaking of RECORDS, how about setting a record for the BIGGEST choke in MLB history . . . Even I can't believe it. No hard feelings though . . .

To the road trippers, mi casa es su casa and I will buy the FIRST round for any LIW'er that makes their way north for opening day! Be aware though that typically it is marathon monday in Boston . . .

I am glad the sox won..now they can stop complaining. I also hope they realize and come to terms with the fact that there never was a curse and their team has just stunk for the last 86 years.

Granted, the Yankees choked. It a fact, and we cannot change that. It provided all the Yankee haters out there with a reason to feel happy about themselves, and come up with some good snappy line about 'choking' and 'gagging' and the like. Haaaaaaaaardy har har ...

But NEVER assume that 'frankly , you cannot see how another team will have it happen to them ' If it happened once, it'll happen again. And it WON'T be by the Yankees. You can bet on that.

Sure their big Choke as you put it will never be forgotten, But, They are and always will be the greatest team in baseball with the most positive history and the most records ever set by any team!! Where do those Mets and red sox rank on the positive record list, umm..the bottom of the list with everyone else!! Enjoy it all now, because next season, in about May, the Mets will probably already be out of playoff contention and the red sox probably will to when they loose all their Aces in the off season!!! They'll be raising that flag on opening day, but there will probably only be a handful of players there that actually won it!!Have a great off season everyone!!
