Ha ha.......phew......i'm not alone I love my mom to death and believe me, she looks great for her age and 3 kids, but I had to ask her to PLEASE go easy. FH's family is a bit on the conservative side and I dont want any heart attacks. She actually asked me if she could make chocolate penis lolli-pops for my bridal shower

my mom didn't go to a bridal store to look at dresses. We went to a few places that sell fancy dresses but they don't carry bm dresses or wedding dresses. However the 2 dresses my mom likes are jovani.
this is the dress i LOVED on her and want her to get. Of course i wouldn't make her get it, i want her to love it too. But she does and loves the color. Were going next weekend to try them on again and maybe look at some new stuff that came out. As you can see its not a typical MOB dress lol
my mom sews fancy dresses for her ballroom dancing stuff so she will be sewing her dress for my wedding as well (two dresses actually...one for the church and then something a little bit more fun that she can dance in for the reception). my grandma will be making her own dress as well.
My mom got a very mature MOB dress. Now my mom is heavy and she doesn't need to show too much flesh IoI. She got something she would be comfty but elegant and dress enough for my wedding.
I think even if my mom was thin I wouldn't want her in a fancy 1k dress because i feel its not me or what our day is about. Its about Fh and I not about her looking slamming IoI But this is me and my mom - my fsil on the other hand all most got a more expensive and more dressier dress then my wedding dress. To each is own
yeea my mom is going to buy something off the rack, prob look at like macys or something like that, maybe even kohls bc she loves that store!!! haha, well see though, but no, she will not be getting a 'MOB' dress from like a bridal store, as long as she is happy with how she looks im fine with that :)
