Are you taking FH's last name?

Part of me wants to, but a bigger part of me wants to keep my name. I might hyphenate it at some point, but that would be in a few years, like when my passport expires.

Yes... altough I love mine...we've been together for 30 years! Also, his is difficult to pronounce and I feel like I am losing part of my heritage --- I will have a BIG italian name, but not a drop of Italian blood in me!

but, it makes us a family and I want us and our children to have the same last name....

I love my last name and will hyphenate. I wan't to still acknowlege my family for what I have accomplished thus far with my present last name. Why should he get allt he credit?
