Bachelorette Party!
Ladies - Need your help. My best friend is planning a bachelorette party for her friend and I guess they'll be somewhere near Riverhead, NY. Can anyone recommend things to do while out there? Nightlife, etc? She wants like an 80's thing... I told her about East Wind already & also told her about the winery in the area. Not exactly sure if and where she'll fine 80's themed nightlife out there but it's worth a shot... Any other suggestions would also be appreciated.

Re: Bachelorette Party!
I went to a bach party out eat at the Spa at East Wind but then we headed to Farmingdale for dinner and nightlife. There really isn't much of a nightlife out that way except in towards Centereach and Smithtown unless its in the summer and you hit up the Hamptons.Sorry.
ETA: unless you go to Montaulk during the summer months and go to the local bars there.

Re: Bachelorette Party!
Hello its the FH here. I grew up out east. And depending the time of the year depends on what to do out there. During the winter months Im sorry to say there isn't much to do in the Riverhead area. Not really any good bars or even clubs at all. During the summer months there really isn't much at all except for the Wineries on the northshore just east of riverhead. But the Hamptons are a short drive away. Lots of clubs and bars out that way. But they really dont open for business untill Memorial day weekend.

Re: Bachelorette Party!
I agree I think you need to head to the Hamptons and anywhere before memorial day weekend is dead. The bars and clubs are empty.

Re: Bachelorette Party!
I just had my bachelorette party out east and we did Vineyard 48 during the day which had a DJ but it wasn't 80s music. We had a blast but its more like dance music (yes people were dancing on tables). After that we went to Greenport , first to Claudios which had live music and then the Chowderhouse. Don't know how helpful this was for what she is looking for but we all had such a good time. The live music places were an older crowd but it was a lot of fun. Lots of dancing and singing
what time of the year is she looking for?

Re: Bachelorette Party!
I say you keep driving passed Riverhead, go to Orient Point, jump on the ferry, and enjoy a day or two at the Casinos!
