We're using Eturnity Band - they don't do showcases. They do play at Lola and other places in NYC - they are a 12-piece motown/funk band and are AMAZING to hear. We literally couldn't stop dancing!! And we were able to get them down a little in price by paying cash.

If it is the same eric I am thinking of (I hope it is) they played at a friend of a friends wedding and that friend recomm. them to us. She said that they were a little pricy, but that the whole place was up and out of their seats. They were so happy!! She said the sound was awesome.

Renegade- a LI Paramount Band. We were recommended by different people. We were lucky enough that they were doing a wedding at the place we were getting married and we listened to them during the wedding. We heard them and saw what they did at an actual wedding, not at a showcase since many bands play differently for those and we were hooked. We signed with them right away.

Also every vendor we were going to look at, asked what band we had taken and once we said Renegade, everyone of them said they were excellent and we will have a great wedding. That added to us saying yes!!!!!

Also if you are interested in a particular band, most won't hold them for you, be ready to give a deposit!!!!!

Renegade is a great band. My cousin and my best friends used them for their weddings, You won't be disappointed.

I booked Full House. They were reccommended by a few friends and also by a few girls on the board. I went to thier showcase and they were amazing. Every song sounded just like the original. They also play at bars and clubs around Long Island and always draw a big crowd.They have a few clips on thier website www.fullhousemusic.com
