Back to my desk for literally a second, saw i missed a call from dave - so i called him back...
Bob called (for those of you who remember the story last week)....he didn't want to talk to him over the phone - he said he'd be near his job and they could go to lunch...dave can't leave for lunch on wednesdays (there's only 2 other guys there)...so now he's stopping by his job around 1:00 - 1:30....
OH DEAR LORD...my stomach hurts... Dave thinks he's dropping out...
i'll update you guys when dave calls the cell & i get back to my desk!!!!!

OMG! Wow Jess...
If he drops out - then DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT. Honestly Jess, it will be for the best. If he drops out, it is a sign that he can't comply with the very simple requirements of being a GM - you don't need someone like that around on your big day!

Jess, If he drops out... don't worry about it. It's one less thing for you to stress over. I realize that it's hard for Dave to deal with, and I'd hate for him to be hurt by one of his best friends... but at this point I'm sure it's happened to all if not most of us... sometimes, people just suuuck. and it takes a big life changing event like a wedding to get them to show their true colors.
I'll throw on a tux if you guys need me. I look sharp in a tux.

when i spoke to dave he said part of him really thinks he's going to drop out & he said if he does he's going to tell him it's the lamest excuse ever.
then he also said that maybe 2% thinks maybe bob's coming to tell him that his marriage is falling apart....but who knows??
he promised to call me as soon as he gets back into work...(they'll be going outside)...
when he told me that bob called, i got a bad taste in my mouth - kinda like when you're driving & a cop pulls up behind you and throws on the lights....
i don't know what i expect to happen....but that was my gut reaction.
i love you girls so much for listening - you have no idea!

I'm sure Dave understands that there are about 150 women that are waiting to hear this outcome.
Oh and Heather..................... I'm going to be Dave's GM if Bob officially drops out, maybe you can be my psycho date so this way it feels as if Bob and his psycho wife are there!!!!!
