Anyone know if we can include vendors if we don't make our minimum. I now have alot of OOT that are not coming. We only have about 130, the minimum is 150.

I'm also so excited that this thread has started! Are you girls doing your own menus or using the one Carltun provides? I had seen tables set-up with menus and they looked so pretty- ribbon and all....then when I received the sample menu I was alittle ( a lot) dissappointed!! What are all of you doing?

Also, now come to think of it I really do want a pasta course- do you think people will realize there is none??? Even though I barely touch it at weddings, I knid of think it's a given!

What are you girls doing for your CH centerpieces??

So many q's!!

Eeeee Jenn... we're the same weekend and you're so much further ahead than I am. We're stuck on photo/video at the moment!!!

I can tell you that I am designing all of our printed materials from invitations to thank you's and everything in between. So I don't think I'll be using the Carltun's menus.

As for CH centerpieces... haven't thought much about it yet, but it'll probably be something simple like candles floating in little bowls or something like that.

Anyone using a coordinator for the day of, or for any part of the process for that matter??

I don't know-- I am sure they will accommodate.. But you can always invite future Carltun brides to get you to your minimum

I have not even seen the menus they provide- I need to get on that-- are they that bad??

For my CH CP's I think I am doing a small grouping of my fave flowers- gerber daisies.. but then I saw in the new Martha Stewart an arrangement with Ferns that I think would look great in that room-- plus it is very Victorian (as per Martha).. and I really like that.

Well......I wouldn't say bad- the menus are just so not exciting!! HA! They are just ivory linen paper with normal font- I was picturing sooo much more from them....oh, well.

Randella- your CP sound sooo pretty!
Do you have any sample pics? Would love to see them!

Kerri- I just get alittle ahead of myself sometmies- I'm really not that ahead- he,he.

Now, I'm stuck on BM dresses- I had my heart set on gold, but cannot find ANY that are cute!! I did see a Bill Levkoff one that comes in champagne and has a sable belt....but I'm worried the light color will blend into me.....so confused!!

Not a bad idea!
These are the CP's we are having.

I am sure we are all dying to see all your planning come to fruition- also, to be a guest at the Carltun would be great-- have you ever been to a wedding their before your own?? I have only been to the Palm Court.

No samples yet-- and those are just ideas.. My reception CP's will be big gold candelabras with thick candles and a little ivy-- very renaissance-y.

Anyone have a pic of these menus??

PB's CPs are great-- love the colors for Fall.

We are using Flowers By Brian-- Sheila at Carltun really loves him and we just ended up there- I liked him too- and he 'got' my vision.

I can;t wait to start seeing samples of all my stuff-- PB- when did you start working on samples?

Flowers by Brian is another one on the list (actually, the list is only those 2 at the moment). I just saw pictures of a friends wedding, done by Brian, and whoa those flowers were insanely beautiful!

Re: Carltun Thread

We didn't book our florist until February of this year. I didn't start planning my CP's until after I got my dress and the BM dresses. I already knew I wanted a fall theme.
