I was going to suggest lots of rose petals and candles like the pics posted. It looks so pretty and is fairly inexpensive.
Instead of cranberries, how about some other type of berry?
Princess Consuela-no, you are right. for a wedding package they provide CPs. We are having a vow renenwal and are on a serious tight budget so I booked a regular party package, which comes with a bud vase on each table, but I still want an elegant reception and I think one bud vase is too small for tables of ten and a room that large. We could convert our package, but i think that would cost us more than just doing the CPs ourselves. I have a plan, but am having problems getting my candle holders suddenly so I'm worried they won't come in in time. This is what we want and I already bought the votives and silk ivy to wrap around them at the base on the table. Five on each table. I just haven't seen anything yet that I like as much as our original idea. Problem is the style of the room. I'm sure you remember from the wedding you were at that the room is dark and has lots of lights and mirrors. There are a lot of simple CPs you can do in a garden type, open airy kind of place that won't go in the room I've got.
I do like the raspberries and kiwi idea. That's different. Thanks for all your suggestions. Keep em coming
