I know we have a lot of recent brides so I hope they are here to share... Did you cry when walking down the aisle? Saying your vows? Any other time? Did you just get teary-eyed or was it niagra falls? Or were you able to keep it under control? What did you do about your makeup?
Sorry so many questions but I'm so worried about this! I look like a slobbery mess when I cry and I don't want to be bawling while I'm walking down the aisle!!

I'm afraid I'm going to start laughing. My FH and I were going through our vows last week, and he kept making weird noises throughout the whole thing. I know I am just going to think of that and start laughing and I won't be able to stop.

I cry at everyone else's weddings. I cry when I watch 'A wedding story'. I even got chocked up watching 'For better or for worse' on TLC last night! So I cann't imagine what I will be like at my own wedding!
oh god me tooooooooooo!!!!~ even thinking about i get emotional! but i always thought id cry when fh proposed and I didnt i was ready to burst into laughter

When I was walking down the aisle I couldn't see DH until I got almost to the end (which is a good thing because I probably would've started crying if I saw him.)
I was ok up until I had to recite my vows. I got a little choked up, but not too bad.
I did better than I thought - I was afraid that I was going to be a bawling mess but I held up pretty good

I cried right after I said my vows. Then DH went to wipe away my tears which made me cry even more.

ME TOO! I have been thinking about having my mom walk me down also though, I think she feels a little left out cuz she has nothing 'special' that day, walk down the aisle, dance, etx...

wow idont know i cried when he proposed and i will probably cry there. i cry during a wedding story and for better or for worse also. i became a mush out of no where. either way i cant wait and i will have a hankie

Jim got pink and I got teary when we said our vows.. up until the 'For richer or poorer' then we both started to grin, which made us want to cry!! LOL

I had a bucket of tears in my eyes but was able to hold it in walking down the isle. When our cantor started talking about my dad a few tears got loose. My makeup was fine...I held a tissue so I could catch the tears.
Everytime I watch the ceremony on video I cry from begining to end

me, too... on both counts. Always tearing at other people's weddings, or anything on tv wedding related, but I didn't cry when he proposed (but I got teary-eyed when I saw my mom, cause she did... lol). I actually said 'ARE YOU SERIOUS?'... no, he just had a ring for the hell of it... dummy! lolol

I thought that i would be a mess - I cry EVERY episode of A Wedding Story.... But I was fine all morning, and I only cried when I saw one of Tom's friends standing there as I was about to walk down the aisle.....he has these huge expressive eyes, and when he looked at me, it just hit me for some reason, and I started crying......I couldn't stop. I cried a bit as I walked down the aisle, but once I got to Tom, I was fine.....but I had a few tears to wipe away once I got up there.... My brother (a big tough Marine) did cry when we said our vows though....

I know how you feel and I am having both parents walk me down the isle. Which is good, one on each side to hold me up. lol

I cried at the rehersal dinner when I was giving out gifts. I cried at the rehersal an hour before the ceremony because I was so overwhelmed at what was about to happen. I cried at the ceremony while walking with my mom and dad down the aisle. I cried when I was trying to say the vows that I had written. So, yes I cried alot. Oh and my friends have had a great time giving me sh%% about it because I am always the one that is in total control of her emotions. The good news is that I have not cried since we got married.
ETA: My makeup did not run though and my fake eyelashes stayed glued on tight.
