One word: Bridezilla.
I think that is very wrong to ask of your guests especially sine that is a color a lot of people wear!

Re: Do you think this is rude? Is anyone doing this?
Very, Very Rude. If I had to go buy a new dress because I couldn't wear the black one I already had, I would deduct it from the gift. My BM's are wearing black and it never even entered my mind to care.

Re: Do you think this is rude? Is anyone doing this?
I would never say something like this. IMO a lot of people take weddings way to seriously. A wedding is two people who love each other joining in marriage and sharing it with friends and family. People get to wrapped up in the little details, they forget to just enjoy the day.To tell you the truth, if I got this invitation, I would not go.

I guess not.
I think it's rude to tell your guest what color to wear to your wedding. I understand if she asked not to wear white, but black, that's crazy.

Re: Do you think this is rude? Is anyone doing this?
First of all, it is incredibly rude to tell your guests what NOT to wear (isn't that Stacy and Clinton's job, anyway? lol)! Secondly, and ONLY in my opinion, why do brides put their girls in black, especially in June? It's a wedding, not a funeral! And again, before everyone gets mad at me and jumps down my throat, this is ONLY my opinion and the reason why my girls are wearing red!!edited for spelling

Re: Do you think this is rude? Is anyone doing this?
WOW! I always try to find out what color the BP is in so I don't wear the same color but that's of my own volition.. This bride is out of her flippin' mind. I think I'd have to go out and find a nice, bright WHITE dress - no, make that a gown - to wear instead.

I don't know if I would say that it's rude but it's definitely ballsy... I have never heard of a bride & groom stating what color a guest can not wear. Does that mean since my girls are wearing navy that I should send every female guest a note sayin that they shouldn't wear navy?? That's just CRAZY!!
wow i guess people can do whatever they want... i agree with the above quote

Re: Do you think this is rude? Is anyone doing this?
I think it's funny, my girls are wearing black, and one of the reason's I picked it was because I thought they could wear them again (like maybe to another wedding!!!!)
