That's totally rude!! Brides that pick black for their BMs should know going into it that most people wear black cocktail dresses to weddings...In fact, I usually wear a black dress to weddings because it's generally a 'safe' color (as in, it's pretty unusual that the BMs will wear black, so I don't have to worry that I'll freakishly match the BMs).

It's like me requesting that none of the male guests wear a black suit b/c FH is wearing one...Sheesh...

I think its VERY rude... not everyone is rich and alot of people have the black dress for the weddings they go to...

furthermore, the guests won't look like the BMs...
I am not asking my guests not to wear lavendar...
