B) 6 hr party being a Cocktail party for the entire time with open bar....

I also say cocktail party. It gives you more time to mingle with everyone.

T - have the cocktail party. I wish I could have had the wedding this way.
A sit-down is too formal. Everyone loves the food at a cocktail & its a more relaxed atmostphere. Then the dancing starts ... It'll be so much fun! You could have desert ... like a mini-vienese, tho. that'd be good.

I think 6-hours is too long for a cocktail party. I would do a 4-hour cocktail party instead of a formal e-party.

We had A party in a hall (in the firehouse very nice place) we had the food catered it wasnt formal at all not like a wedding at all. JMO I think if it is going to be in a big fance place then Cocktail party but if it is in a place like mine then sit down dinner is good.

Theresa, I say if you are doing 6 hours at a hall, it should be sit down. People tend to get more hungry on just cocktail food...especially for 6 hours!

My FSIL has friends that had their e-party at Russos on the bay. No FLames here I love ya and all but... Don't you think that JT is a bit much for an e-party?
