So FH forwarded an email between a friend and himself with the following in it:

bachelor party will be, i believe, june 10. my brother is organizing it, it will be at a hotel in suffolk.

this was my response and his:
(on aol)
ME-there will be NO bachelor party in a hotel room unless you guys are playing xbox all night. if you want strippers i have to insist that it be at a strip club.
ME- that is my only request
ME-i just can't get around the stripper in a hotel room...that is way too freaky...and too dangerous for all involved
FH-it is already paid for -- just stop. if you think i am doing something there, we should not be getting married
ME- no, i am only making one request and that is that there be no ho's in a hotel room
ME- that is really a very fair request.
ME-do you realize that in the privacy of a hotel room they can do anything they wish????? anything.
FH-just stop
me- this isn't negotiable.
FH-stop it right now
FH-if i said we were having it at the empire state building, you would go off about that
me-NO, THAT'S IN PUBLIC
me-THERE WOULD BE RULES
FH-he's a cop

well big deal?? he'll be drunk like the rest of you....honestly, i've made one request all along...in a strip club, no touching, no hotels. is that sooo hard????

why? they are just making money- it's a job

they don't want your husband/boyfreind- they just want to make money

strippers are not hookers- they dance - they entertain- not have sex for money

They seriously make a lot of money.. LOL....most of tthem have kids with dead beat dads.. i had a friend taht was a stripper and i know its cliche that all strippers say they do it to get them through scholl.. well she actually did.. then once she graduated and got a job she quit the busines.. like beth said they make more then most people make in 2 weeks in 1 weekend.

as far as the ones that go to the hotel rooms.. they are usually really ugly and skanky and the guys end up making fun of themm. really sad.. you very rarely will ever see a really hot stripper going door to door.. the good looking ones are at the strip clubs making a lot more money.

its for a goof.. you have to lighten up..its not a big deal.......

I don't either- but I know they make in ONE night what I make in 2 weeks- good for them!

sorry this is retarded.... we are suppose to be excited and getting ideas on this site.. not stressing over dumb strippers and bachelor parties.. its all for a goof.. and guys make fun of strippers......

We should be worrying about our bacheloorette parties.. and giving each other ideas on that.

On that note has anyone planned theirs yet??

I think its stupid that Men feel the need to see naked women before marriage. I don't understand it and thankfully I dont have to deal with it because FH is not having strippers or going to a strip club. Its possible we will have a combined party with the whole Bridal party. I have to say reading the posts it makes my stomache do flip flops because i feel the anxiety in the women who are dealing with the thought of their DH and strippers. Its sick it doesnt make sense and is a horrible tradition. I thank god everyday that my FH does not have 'boys' who want to get him obliterated like i read here on the threads. I feel for you girls and if i was in your shoes I know this will sounds nuts but i would threaten him that i would call off the wedding. I know this sounds extreme but if my FH told me or i secretly found out there will be strippers in a hotel room, I couldnt possibly marry someone who thought this was a acceptable. I'm sorry but this is my opinion and I really feel for you girls who are going through this situation right now
