I went and talked with them. Very nice girls but I couldn't justify the 1k+ pricetag.

the PWP girls will help you with vendor appts and invites, but if you hire their services as a DOC, then the charges apply is what I thought

Yeah vendors and kids under 12 eat 1/3 off. If the kids are really small and they don't have to set a place for them, then they are free.

So the one thing that I didn't like about the Briar Fox room was where the DJ/Band would go. Its like in the corner. My problem is that I have 160 people right now, and the room max's out at 170, so it seemed tight for the amount of people I am having.

Either way, I have to make it work because my parents are booking it there tomorrow!

I got a free night at the hotel thrown in, chair covers, ice sculpture and wine on the table.

IS your weddign nov 28th? I know some people got a free room at the Inn so i brought it up with my BM. He said you only get a free night if you have it in certain months (I think it was winter months).hmmm.. strange

I got a free room and i'm sept!

We are getting married in Jan. We asked for the free room and they said no. After I almost walked out of there, he said he would give me the free room! I think I had the hardest time out of anyone with these people.

Wow I can't believe that, who are you dealing with? Dave is who we are going threw and it seems great. It wasn't neg with the price but he threw in some stuff.

I used PWP for invitations and DOC. I had a good experience with invitations and an INCREDIBLE experience with the DOC. That was the one thing leading up to my wedding that I thought was a waste of $$...but it definitely was NOT! SOOOOO worth it!!

That's strange. We're getting married on a saturday night and they threw in the room. We didn't even have to ask for it.

Your wedding is in January. You get the room in the winter (I believe jan - march) or on a sunday. I did not get a room. We considered moving to march and were told we would get it then.

Yeah. But there are other girls getting married in Jan-Mar and they apparently were told that they couldn't get the room. I think the ppl at Fox Hollow are a little inconsistent with that whole thing.

hi all,

has anyone got any pictures of the briar fox room or have you had your wedding reception (or been to a wedding reception) in that room?

i am super close to booking this weekend w my BM but would prefer a sat night.. .and was told i could only get briar fox for a sat night reception (garden terrace was offered for during the day, but i prefer night)

SO i was just wondering your thoughts on this room?

Thanks!!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I am in the Briar Fox and at first I really wasn't thrilled with it because I am having 160 people and I feared it might be tight. Then we saw it set up for a wedding and what a difference! It looked beautiful! Also, I didn't take into account, they sit 12 people at a table, I was thinking 8-10. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the band/dj location in the room. They are kind of tucked away. But I have started talking with dj's who they recommended and since they know the room set up, they assured me they make it awesome. So my only advice is go with the dj/band who knows that room. For example, they know where to put the speakers and what not.

Hope that helps, good luck!

Fox Hollow did not give me a credit....NO! Cakes by Jay is pricey. I couldn't quote you a price because it depends upon what you want. If you use his sugar flowers...it can be $$...which is what I did but it was sooo worth it. I would call him and meet with him...he'll try to work with you!
