I got my letter today!!!!!!!!!!

very exciting. I think this is equal with hearing my dress came in!

I was literally doing dishes singing, we got our letter.....to pick our menu....

no joke...i called my mom to sing it to her...

For hair - i'm using Daniella from Lemon Tree in Lindenhurst - she's coming to my house (hair trial in album).

For Makeup - i'm using my NJ Mary Kay Lady - she's coming out to NY for me!

For those Fox Hollow girls getting married at the site...are you using the outdoor ceremoney site? I love it, but i'm really worried that you'll be able to hear all that car traffic in the background. When I visited last weekend, it was definitely loud....what are you all doing?

I attended a wedding there that had the ceremony outside, and I dont remember hearing any of the traffic. I am sure there was some, but with the music playing for the ceremony, and the focus on the couple, I never heard any of it

I dont have any pictures, but I think their packet they give you includes one of the chapels with the decorations. When I went to an indoor wedding there they had white columns, white tulle down the aisle, and white flowers for decorations

I had my wedding at the outdoor site and you couldn't hear anything.... or at least I didn't. No one said anything to me about traffic noise. I also think they might have two outdoor wedding sites depending on which room you are in and if anyone else is having an outdoor wedding.

I will try to post pictures of the outdoor site.

I am hoping to get married outside ... but my wedding is Oct 25, so we'll see what the weather is like. If it's anything like the weather we are having lately ... which I normally would say is wayyyy too warm for late October ... it should be fine.

When I was visiting with one of the BMs a while back, they said they were doing work on the outdoor area to make it less noisy. They are moving the entrance for the guests, so it is directly across from the fox hollow entrance, and they are also adding more shrubs / bushes / etc which should drown out some of the noise. And yes, like someone else said, if you are having music, etc, you will not hear the traffic.

oh girls, i found a old fox hollow thread, and one of the girls on there had so many pics of the fox hollow.. ill try to find it again and put it up if you want!

Does anyone know the deal the FH gives you if you use their house officiant? I remember there is some kind of deal, like $$ off the ceremony fee or something, but I just can't remember what it is.
