Few things to add:

1 - Fox Hollow Inn - in the contract it says basically no parties. They seem to have a pretty strict policy. Not sure how late the bar stays open there (do they even have a bar)

The Inn doesn't have a bar. They used to, I think, but my BM told me that they didn't want people going there after a wedding all drunk and partying even more, so they got rid of it. I wish they had something - this way we wouldn't have to go into Huntington to party after our wedding. (It ends at 6:30.)

EH!! This totally sux!! The REASON we were getting a room block was because everyone was going to get a room the night of so we could all still hang out after the wedding....not to party, party (i plan on being pretty tired), but still hang out, have a few drinks....then eventually fall asleep (of course not at a bar b/c i know they don't have one) .

Any one know if they allow rose petals or anything of that nature to be tossed after a ceremony?

TIA

Anyone??

I almost doubt it since you don't go outside between the ceremony and recweption if you are doing both at the hall.

They let you do the toss inside too if your ceremony is there. I asked as a back up for our wedding.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Tip the bartender and he will give you what ever you want then have your BA give you a bag. When you take your stuff back to the hotel they will never see anything. We had a nice get together at the Inn and they left us alone.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I know there have been a lot of questions about the cake. I loved loved loved almost everything about Fox Holow, but DH and I were definitely disappointed by the cake. It tasted ok, but it was ugly. You could see the cardboard base the cake was placed on. We wanted a square cake very plain with no decorations besides the flowers from our florist. They piped the frosting around it. It also was lopsided. Here's the pic:

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I just spoke to Perfect Wedding Planner. Angela assured me that Arthur is still with the company.

James from PWP who does the bridal teas, however, is no longer with the company. I had him booked for wedding day coordination.

Just a heads up!

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
I had him booked too.

... I'm so upset right now. The only reason i booked with them was b/c of him.
I know that they don't guarantee DOCs but still...
now i feel like i'm wasting all of that money.
I met two of the other DOC and i HATED them. they made me so angry. I don't know what to do....

I had asked about the BA and the PWP told me that they don't really do anything for you. I'm finding out now that is BS.
If they rebook i get 80% of my deposit back, but if they don't i loose $350

i am starting to hate the Scotto Companies right now. (This is one of my bridezilla type tantrums, i'm well aware, and yes the Fox Hollow is amazing)
