Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Interesting!!!!!Okay - so who wants to go and get cakes?!??!?! If it's in Bethpage - i can offer my parents house to stop at and try them! They live in Lindenhurst...but it'd have to be a weekend - since i live in jersey...
Can we maybe do the 6th of October? I'll be out there for the '08 shower anyway!!!!!

Wow - that's pretty rough....
Thank you for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FH just said there's nothing that says love more than guys hunting fox!!!!
HAAAAAAAAAA
they are ugly, im agreeing with you... however i think we are still going to use them.. unless i wen to party city, or michaels and by CHEAP ones..
Its not that they are ugly- thats the wrong word- its more that they are not my taste and would in no way go with the rest of my stuff at the wedding. I was also expecting something very plain and those are in no way plain so it kinda took me by surprise.
lol, yea i guess ugly is not a good word for that.. its not my taste either.. im really suprised they arent more plain looking.
Ya me too- I was expecting like ivory plain hard stock paper with a blank line to put the names on. Just very plain and these are in no way that!

December 8th is a Saturday though - that's probably a big night for the restaurant..
I guess it's possible that only Sunday (????) weddings get the hour and a half because the restaurant isn't open & they wouldn't be using it....
I dunno...
My ceremony is at 6:30 - 6:30 - 7:00 - but they told me to put 6 on the invites - so that people wouldn't walk into the ceremony late.
we're getting married at FH, ceremony at 12:30, and having CH at the Rosehunt from 1-2 and reception at 2-6.
just an hour :( we go back this sunday to leave another deposit. would it be bad to mention this forum?
I'm not sure - Deanna - did you mention it???
no, i didnt mention it..but im sure there is nothing wrong with it.. except us making fun of the captain![]()
can we just edit all those posts if they read it.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier! I was going to go for a tasting there- you can just call and they tell you when they are open and say just to come in. But I wasn't clear if I was going to get a tasting or more of a meeting of what they offer.

Yeah, they give a lot more to you if you get married on a Sunday or Friday, but definitely Sundays.

(Anyone remember that OLLLLLD Bill Cosby skit,
'Dad is great .. he gives us chocolate cake ..' and then his wife screams 'You gave them chocolate ckae FOR BREAKFAST???' I am cracking up just thinking about it!)

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Reading this thread is making me sad/angry...I didn't get ANY extras. I thought i got a good deal on the Per person price, but still...
my cocktail hour is an hour... i wanted it to start a half hour earlier b/c i have a large gap between my ceremony and reception but they said no.
i'm a friday bride...
i'm getting sick thinking about all the stuff i'm 'missing out on'

I'm getting an hour and a half CH and then a room for the wedding night at the Fox Hollow Inn. My wedding is a Sunday. I think that's pretty standard for a Sunday though.

I don't think anything changed about that...a signature drink?? The only thing they told me - is the bartender told Dave if he wanted any special beer, they could order it...
I did notice the martini bar thing in the extras...i didn't think anything of it though!!!!

Definitely weird - maybe then they didn't??? How long ago did you book? Maybe one of the 'already married' girls can answer this one for us....if they offered it when they got married...
