Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
ok my fellow Foxy Ladies!!! =)I have a few questions..lol
(1) Did anyone do a candy buffet for their guests?
(2) Anyone in the Garden Terrace have pics of the whole room set up? How high were your centerpieces?
(3) How early do they let you into the bridal suite?
(4) I heard they provide the cocktail hour centerpieces, but does anyone have pics of them?

When we were there on Monday, Jennifer said there were two types. One is a rose floating in a small bowl of water, the other was a rose in a small silver vase.

Wow SO exciting for our soon to be brides!!! Good luck!!!I just got back from the PWP florist tonight. He was great. I think we are going to book him. He is going to make us a sample centerpiece next week and we haven't even booked him yet! I thought that was pretty cool. Price was $2700, I didn't think that was too bad and my parents are helping with like $1300 of it so that is good!

Seriously, this thread is ridiculously helpful!
I totally agree!! There are questions I had and most have been already answered here! Before I ask, I check this board to see if it's here. So thank you to all who post to this board!

OOOOo & girls - do NOT forget to bring some tupperware!!!!!
Go buy a cheap box of the stuff at target, walmart or something!
The bridal attendant will fill it with your faves of cocktail hour or from dinner!!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting this info!!!!![]()
I've been really concerned about this from the very beginning and it's great to hear that they'll take care of all of this for us!!
I have major eating issues due to late effects from cancer treatments, and I take meds just to eat certain foods. We're spending so much time, energy and money in planning, and I'm absolutely terrified of eating on my own wedding day and spending the whole reception doubled-over in terrible pain!! From the moment we got engaged and started planning, I put my mom in charge of going into the kitchen and boxing stuff up for me for later, b/c I can't even eat it at my own wedding!! She's great at stuff like this, taking charge and getting things done, so I'll definitely come prepared with containers!!
It's great peace of mind that Fox Hollow will do this for us! So thanks for giving us all the inside info!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jenn,
Thanks so much! This is something I've been dealing with for a while now, and most likely will have for the rest of my life. It's from the radiation I had, so the symptoms are similar to IBS. I'm just happy to know that Fox Hollow will work with us and take into account my medical issues and I can save food for later and not miss out on all that I planned. I know everyone says that you don't really eat at your own wedding since you're so busy and running around and 'forget' to eat, but I know by the end of the night I'm going to be craving some of my favorites from the menu!!
Along similar lines, one of my best friends has a gluten/wheat allergy and was determined to be able to eat her own wedding cake. Her catering hall in NJ made the top layer gluten-free, and she and her husband ate the cake in their hotel room well after midnight after their reception!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Does anyone know when can drop off your centerpieces? I am thinking of making my own with just candles and wanted to know if Fox Hollow would let me drop them off the night before with directions on how to set them up.Also, do you know if we can have candles? I asked the BM during our meeting and he said no problem, but now I am seeing that people say that you can't have open flames??? I'm confused.
Thanks!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
I called the Fox Hollow and asked abuot open flames - they said they did not have a policy on this.We were told to drop all of our stuff (cardbox, placecards, favors, etc.) off 1 week before the wedding. Not sure if you would want to drop off the centerpieces at that time with everything else. Although florists who deliver centerpieces do so on the day of the wedding.
I would say call Jen or Lindsey and ask, I don't think it would be a problem when you drop them off. You will need to give them precise directions on how to set them up.

Yes - you have to call 10 days before your wedding with your final count & at that time, you set up your FINAL appointment. That is the time they take EVERYTHING from you.

to you. And that is AWESOME that your friend got to have gluten free cake with her hubby all by themselves, that sounds like fun! I am looking forward to eating leftovers in the hotel after our after-party (around midnight).
