I am booked with CLM and when I went to visit it didnt seem nearly shoddy as you describe...most dance floors have scuffs on them...peoples shoes ar eon them all the time. Im not sure what you saw but I am still very excited...personally, im not going to be looking at the dance floor the day of my wedding and I dont think many guests will either...just my opinion...
If you are that concerned, see if you can get it in the contract. If not, look elsewhere. You can find other halls with that price im sure.

I don't sweat the small stuff..I love CLM for the view, the people, the food the room everything...i dont care f the dance floor has scuffs...im not looking down, im not looking at the carpet. It felt right for us . thats all that matters.
you wont even notice. I had my e-party there and i cant even tell you what the dance floor looked like. I dont think i ever pay attention and look at the dance floor when i go to any weddings. Scuffs i think is to be expected many times bc there is no way that wont happen and they cant keep changing it all the time. I loved CLM and FH always says if the main room was bigger he would've loved to have the wedding there. They did a phenomenal job, so great to deal with, the place looked amazing that night and the food was excellent
also when people go during the day on a weekday to look at RH's, they have to remember that it might not be the cleanest at that very moment. I know somebody once said to me that the windows were dirty when they went to look at it, but the day of a wedding RH's clean lol and get everything ready and i didnt notice any dirty windows, all were extremely clean.

my sister got married there and it was an unbelievable wedding. i think you can disect every RH you see and find something under par. i dont think anyone will notice these faults. i unfortunately couldnt make the tasting but i was told they had everything, you could try every course offered and all the diff choices. you should fast for a few days to be able to fit in everything! the food was awesome for the wedding.

i was just there... they are redoing the carpet, adding curtains and redoing the dance floor... the new wood just came in and lou said they were starting the floor tomorrow...
i am sure it will be done by your wedding...
calm down... be excited it will be all new!!!

don't book there if you are nervous. I had a problem at Beach Club Estates, we booked our wedding there while it was under construction. BIG MISTAKE. I heard from a friend that they had started calling people last month who were supposed to get married there in May that they weren't ready and didn' t know when they would be. Couldn't really get a stratight answer from anyone there.. but didn't want to end up like the person who already set out their invites!!!
I looked at Chateau le Mer when we decided to pull from our contract...and once Lou said there was construction going on we left. LOL. The positive side is thought, that the construction there was minimal...it is def. plausible that they can finish it in time and why would they want to have weddings there when it looks like that??? I'm sure they WILL do it.....but why stress about it when there are so many other halls.
